Week 3 is coming on the horizon and there are a lot of teams that are hurting. Multiple teams are already playing backup quarterbacks and the Broncos listed over a quarter of their roster on this week’s injury report.

With byes still two weeks away, relief isn’t coming for these teams yet. Keep an eye on these practice reports as the week progresses to get an idea of which key players could be limited or inactive come Sunday:

Alvin Kamara is questionable again after sitting out Week 2 with that rib injury. If he does suit up, Kamara could see limited snaps in an effort to protect him.

Mark Ingram had a productive week against Tampa Bay, rushing 10 times for 58 yards in the loss.

Carolina’s rush defense tightened up last week after a rough Week 1, holding Saquon Barkley to 72 yards on 21 carries.

Jackson was replaced by former first-round pick CJ Henderson, and that should be the case on Sunday should he be inactive against the Saints.

The Panthers defense gave Jameis Winston fits last season, intercepting two passes and sacking him four times. Carolina won that game, 26-7.

– The Bills secondary is banged up with both Micah Hyde and Dane Jackson ruled out for Week 3. Add in Jordan Poyer being listed as questionable, and that’s potentially three starters out against the Dolphins’ speedy receiving corps.

Rookie Kaiir Elam should make his first NFL start in Jackson’s spot after filling in during Week 2. Elam recorded one pass breakup in 19 coverage snaps against the Titans.

Damar Hamlin will also make his first start at safety. He’s logged 78 snaps in his NFL career.

– The defensive front doesn’t look much better since Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips are also going to be inactive.

Terron Armstead is questionable for Sunday despite not practicing all week. He was limited in practice last week prior to the Ravens game.

Armstead didn’t miss a snap in Week 2, but his status is “up in the air” according to Mike McDaniel. Miami’s offensive line depth is thin with Austin Jackson on the Injured Reserve.

If Armstead is inactive on Sunday, left guard Liam Eichenberg can kick outside and Robert Jones can fill in.

Eichenberg started 14 games at left tackle for the Dolphins last year, but he earned the lowest overall grade among tackles from Pro Football Focus.

Booth has played just two special teams snaps all season. Expect Cameron Dantzler to remain in the starting lineup despite struggling last week.

Marcus Peters didn’t play every snap in Week 2, but is expected to be back on the field this week after being a full participant in Friday’s practice.

La’el Collins is questionable as well, although his performance through two weeks has left a lot to be desired. The former Cowboy earned a 27.3 pass-blocking grade from PFF last week.

The former Iowa Hawkeye played 60 snaps against the Falcons in relief of Anchrum and earned a 69.8 run-blocking grade from PFF for his efforts.

– Cornerback David Long suffered a groin injury in practice this week and will be out on Sunday. Robert Rochell is the favorite to start opposite Jalen Ramsey on defense with a pair of rookies sitting behind them.
