Motivation or Rest Alert

The Bengals still have an outside shot at the No. 1 seed, but we will know heading into Sunday if that still exists because they need the Chiefs (currently 10-point favorites) to lose to the Broncos as the first leg of the window staying open, and then they still need the Titans and Patriots to lose or they can get in with a win, a Bills win, and losses by the Chiefs and Titans. They currently sit at 4% odds at reaching the top seed and bookmakers have factored that in.

We also have Joe Burrow dealing with a knee issue that he tweaked at the game last week. Zac Taylor was part of Rams rosters that rested players regularly in season finales and we should expect the Bengals to limit their core players at minimum if the Chiefs win on Saturday.

The Browns have been eliminated from the postseason.

Quarterback

Case Keenum: With the Browns eliminated and Baker Mayfield bruised and battered all season, they are shutting him down for the regular season finale.

Keenum started back in Week 7, completing 21-of-33 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown (12.7 fantasy points). Keenum would only be an option for 2QB gamers filling a void.
