Quarterback

Tom Brady: Brady and the Bucs were finally showing signs of life on Sunday and adapting their offense. In the first half on Sunday, Brady was 17-of-23 passing (73.9%) for 194 yards (8.4 Y/A) with two touchdowns. On those first half snaps, the Buccaneers used motion 82.6% of the time (highest rate in the league in the first half last week) while using play-action on 47.8% of Brady’s dropbacks.

In the second half, everything fell apart. After the break, Brady was 13-of-21 (61.9%) for 118 yards (5.6 Y/A) with a touchdown and two interceptions. Tampa Bay used motion on 40.9% of their snaps (17th) and play-action on just 15.4% of Brady’s dropbacks.

No team has gotten in their own way more than the Bucs this season, but Brady has been the QB13 or higher in three of his past four games and is a back-end QB1 here. If he is available in leagues and you lost Jalen Hurts, he would be a priority add this weekend.

Arizona is allowing 16.0 passing points per game (27th) and 0.451 passing points per attempt (27th). They have faced Mac Jones and Brett Rypien the past two weeks, but Arizona had allowed a QB1 scorer in five of their previous six games prior, with the only exception being John Wolford.
