Every Sunday in the weekly fantasy chats, I get asked about my favorite plays of the week or who is my player pool that weekend for DFS.

This article series covers exactly that.

I will go through the players I am targeting as core plays for all formats here. I will cover tournament plays and games to target for stacks in other posts.

The idea is that this will paint a clearer picture of framing lineups.

Week 10 DFS Content:

Our core players are the players that we will have the most exposure to in their positions.

They can be played in cash games and tournaments and are the players we are primarily building our lineups with.

I will have some analysis on the player selections and game writeups, but check out the Week 10 Worksheet for a fully detailed breakdown of the players and games.

Quarterback

Jared Goff ($6,400/$8,000)

We have already seen Goff have a spike week on the road this season (25.4 DK points at Tampa Bay) and this is an indoor game, so we are not weighing in his road splits heavily.

The Chargers have had a nice reprieve the past two weeks against Tyson Bagent and Zach Wilson, but this is still a defense that has to prove it can slow down a competent offense.

Tua Tagovailoa, Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, and Kirk Cousins all logged top-five scoring weeks against the Chargers.

Los Angeles is playing zone coverage on 75.2% of their snaps (10th) and Cover-6 on a league-high 23.1% of snaps.

Against Cover 6, Goff has completed 80.0% (40-of-50) passes, which is only behind Mahomes.

Against zone coverage in general, Goff’s 100.5 rating is second in the NFL. 11 of his 12 touchdown passes have come against zone coverage.
