Every Sunday in the weekly fantasy chats, I get asked about my favorite plays of the week or who is my player pool that weekend for DFS.

This article series covers exactly that.

I will go through the players I am targeting as core plays for all formats here. I will cover tournament plays and games to target for stacks in other posts.

The idea is that this will paint a clearer picture of framing lineups.

Week 15 DFS Content:

Our core players are the players that we will have the most exposure to in their positions.

They can be played in cash games and tournaments and are the players we are primarily building our lineups with.

I will have some analysis on the player selections and game writeups, but check out the Week 15 Worksheet for a fully detailed breakdown of the players and games.

Quarterback

Brock Purdy ($6,800 DraftKings/$8,400 FanDuel)

Purdy has multiple touchdown passes in four of his past five games.

He is averaging 314.7 passing yards per game over his past six games, hitting 300 yards in four yards in four of those games.

This week he draws a passive Arizona defense that he dissected earlier this season.

When these teams played in Week 4, Purdy was 20-of-21 passing 283 yards and a touchdown.

Arizona is 31st in terms of pressure rate (30.6%),.

When Purdy has not been pressured, he has completed a league-high 79.0% of his passes for 11.1 yards per pass attempt with 17 touchdowns and three interceptions (131.8 rating).

Matthew Stafford ($6,000/$7,200)

Stafford is on a roll, reeling off three straight QB1 scoring weeks, with the latter two coming against the Browns and Ravens.

After a 2.9% touchdown rate (26th) over his opening nine games, Stafford has a league-high 9.0% touchdown rate over the past three weeks.

This week he gets a Washington defense allowing a league-high 6.7% touchdown rate to quarterbacks.

Washington has allowed multiple passing touchdowns in 10 games this season.

Washington has allowed every quarterback they have faced since the season opener to score fantasy points than what they were averaging entering the week of playing them.
