  • Matthew Stafford is the first quarterback to throw a pick-six in three straight games since Matt Schaub in 2013 (who did it in four straight games).
  • Jacksonville is forcing 2.3 sacks plus turnovers per game, the fewest in the league.
  • The Jaguars are averaging a league-low 2.6 scoring plays per game.
  • Just 21.9% of the Rams offensive yardage over their past three games has come via rushing, the lowest rate in the league.
  • 79.4% (27-of-34) of the Rams’ offensive touchdowns have come via passing, the highest rate in the league.
  • The Rams lead the league in plays gaining 50 or more yards (nine) and are tied for the lead in touchdowns of 50-plus yards (five).
  • The Rams had just seven plays and three touchdowns of 50-plus yards over the 2019-2020 seasons.

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford (TRUST): Stafford did post a QB4 (21.9 points) scoring week last week, but he did not do a lot to alleviate any short-term concerns about his play, health, and offensive line quality against Green Bay. Stafford was able to connect on two deep balls to carry his totals, but he completed a season-low 55.3% of his passes. He was also pressured on another 37.5% of his dropbacks, the seventh-highest rate of Week 12. Under pressure, he was 5-of-13 passing (with two touchdowns at least) and over the past three games, Stafford is 11-of-31 passing (35.5%).

The Jaguars have shown they can get pressure on the quarterback (12th in pressure rate), but they are 26th in sack rate (5.0%) and dead last in the NFL with just six takeaways this season.

This should be a good get-right spot for this offense and Vegas seems to believe so as well. Jacksonville is 31st in the NFL in completion rate (71.3%) and 29th in yards allowed per pass attempt (7.9 Y/A). Their one saving grace is that they have allowed just a 3.9% touchdown rate (eighth) and no passers have thrown more than two touchdowns against them this season, which is pretty fortunate given their other peripherals defensively versus the pass.
