Welcome to Week 13 of The Worksheet, a comprehensive fantasy football preview, by Rich Hribar.
What is The Worksheet from Rich Hribar?
The Worksheet is a comprehensive weekly fantasy football preview for each NFL game. Rich Hribar analyzes the matchup for every notable fantasy player for every game every week of the NFL season.
I hope everyone had a great holiday and Week 12.
We will flip the calendar over to December this weekend.
Week 13 is a pivotal week as it is the start of the playoffs for FFPC and some other leagues out there.
It is also part of the final two weeks of the fantasy regular season for teams jockeying for playoff seeding in the majority of seasonal leagues across the general population of fantasy gamers.
We have our final huge bye week of the season to throw a wrench into how this critical week will play out.
Make sure you are on top of roster management this week.
All of the Ravens, Bills, Bears, Giants, Vikings, and Raiders are off this week.
While a handful of those teams only have a fantasy asset or two lineups have been leaning on, we are missing several key starters across all of the positions.
Both Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have been in starting lineups all season long. We also will lose two other #Konami quarterbacks, Justin Fields and Joshua Dobbs, who many gamers have been starting.
Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs are at least running backs we were counting on for volume. James Cook, the Baltimore backs, Alexander Mattison, and the Chicago backfield were all in the mix as weekly RB2/FLEX options.
The wide receiver position does not get melted as it could have with six teams off, but we are taking away Stefon Diggs, D.J. Moore, Davante Adams, and Zay Flowers as regular starters for a number of rosters.
The tight end position has been thin this year, and losing T.J. Hockenson, Dalton Kincaid, Isaiah Likely, and Cole Kmet thin things out even further.
If injuries or misfortune have worked against you this season, there is still plenty of DFS action to get into and make the most of the remainder of the season.
This article will be updated throughout the week to reflect major news or injury implications.
I encourage you to use the game-by-game tables and data points here in conjunction with the player rankings that will be available each Wednesday and enjoy the games.
