Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Drake Maye: Maye stayed hot on Sunday, connecting on 18 of 26 passes for 261 yards and 3 touchdowns.
He added 28 rushing yards.
Closing the week as the QB2 (27.2 points), Maye has been inside the top 10 scorers at quarterback in four of the past five games.
Maye should be able to keep his QB1 scoring efficiency going here for as long as New England throws the ball.
Maye was 7 of 11 on throws of 10 or more yards downfield (with two other long completions called back on ticky tack penalties).
He leads the NFL with a 67.8% completion rate on those throws to open the year.
That lines up with this matchup.
Tennessee has allowed a 58.7% completion rate on throws 10 or more yards downfield, 31st in the league.
The only thing that can slow Maye down is the potential that this game is lopsided.
Because Tennessee has performed poorly overall, they face the 10th-fewest attempts per game, which allows them to allow 12.2 passing points per game (8th lowest).
The highest scoring week they have allowed is QB11 because teams have run all over them late in games.
However, we do not know if New England is capable of running the ball effectively against anyone, so they may be forced to build a lead through the air.
The Titans are allowing a 70.7% completion rate (28th) and 7.3 yards per pass attempt (23rd) when teams are throwing.
Cam Ward: Things continued to be a struggle for Ward and this offense on Sunday.
Ward completed a season-high 68.4% of his passes (26 of 38) against the Raiders but only managed 5.8 yards per pass attempt.
He threw 1 touchdown pass but also threw an interception and lost a fumble.
Ward has not finished a week higher than QB22 yet this season.
The only passer with fewer passing points per attempt than Ward (0.238) is Joe Flacco (0.221).
We will see if the fallout of firing Brian Callahan shakes up this offense at all, but Ward is a back-end QB2.
The Patriots have not allowed a QB1 scorer yet this season despite allowing a 71.9% completion rate (30th) and 8.3 yards per pass attempt (31st).
They allowed 8.7 Y/A to Spencer Rattler last week, but no touchdowns.
