Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford: Stafford has been scorching of late.

He has had four QB1-scoring weeks over his past five games.

Stafford has thrown multiple passing touchdowns in six of his past seven games, with 3 or more passing touchdowns in four of his past five.

He leads the NFL in passing touchdowns (21) and passing points per game for fantasy (20.7).

Keep plugging in Stafford as a QB1 here.

The 49ers have suffered so many injuries on defense, which has caught up with them in terms of production allowed.

Over their past six games, the 49ers are 31st in pressure rate (26.4%) and 31st in sack rate (2.8%).

Over that span, San Francisco has allowed 7.4 yards per pass attempt (22nd) and a 5.8% touchdown rate (18th).

They have allowed four QB1 scoring weeks over that span, which includes Stafford himself.

When these teams played in Week 5, Stafford threw for a season-high 389 yards and 3 touchdowns.

That was an overtime game where the Rams chased points throughout, so we won’t expect those yardage totals, but Stafford's touchdown production has been steady.

The 49ers traded for Keion White before last week’s game.

White made his debut on Sunday, creating 1 pressure on 16 pass rush snaps.

Mac Jones: The feeling is that Brock Purdy is not quite ready to play at full strength, which puts Jones in line to make his eighth start of the season.

Jones has only two QB1 scoring weeks this season and is still best used as floor-based QB2.

Los Angeles is ninth in passing points allowed per game (12.3).

They have allowed 6.5 yards per pass attempt (4th) and a 3.2% touchdown rate (7th).

The Rams are fifth in the league in pressure rate (40.6%) while blitzing only 19.6% of the time (28th).

That said, there is still upside for this game to be high scoring and to produce points.

One of those QB1 scoring weeks for Jones was when these teams played in Week 5.

When these teams played in Week 5, San Francisco worked with a skeleton crew on offense and still posted 407 total yards and 26 points.

In that game, the Rams had a 28.6% pressure rate, their second-lowest of the season.

They had 1 sack.

Kyle Shanahan was in his bag that night.

Jones passed for 342 yards and 2 touchdowns in that game, with Kendrick Bourne and Jake Tonges each receiving 11 targets.

They have already gotten George Kittle and Jauan Jennings back, who were unavailable for that game.
