The Worksheet, a fantasy football overview by Rich Hribar, breaking down everything you need to know for the Week 4 Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos Sunday afternoon game.

  • Denver is allowing 4.3 yards per passing play, the fewest in the league.
  • The Broncos have the top pass defense in expected points added (23.8 points).
  • The Ravens are 32nd in the same category (-53.2 points).
  • The Ravens are averaging 7.1 yards per play on first and second down play calls (second in the NFL), but are averaging 3.0 yards per play on third downs (31st).
  • Denver has scored 74.5% of the points in their games this season, the highest share in the league.

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson: Jackson has opened the year as the QB20 (18 points), QB2 (32.3 points), and the QB14 (19.3 points). He has yet to throw multiple touchdown passes in a game yet, but has added 37.1 rushing points, which have made up 53.5% of his fantasy total, the highest percentage in the league.

Denver has been stellar on defense to open the year, allowing a league-best 0.21 passing points per attempt and just two touchdown passes, but also have not been challenged with matchups against Daniel Jones, Trevor Lawrence, and Zach Wilson.

Jackson has struggled when teams have gotten to him early in the season. Pressured on 39.3% of his dropbacks, Jackson has completed just 44.8% of his passes under pressure for 6.5 yards per pass attempt as opposed to a 69% completion rate and 9.9 yards per attempt when kept clean. Jackson’s rushing ability always has him as a QB1 option that you ride through all matchups on, but he is a floor-based play this week.
