Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Justin Fields: Aaron Glenn has declined to name a starter out of the bye, but the assumption is that Fields bought himself some time in the first win of the season in Week 8.

Fields is a boom-or-bust fantasy option.

He has four QB1 scoring weeks and has been QB28 or lower in his other three starts.

Three of his QB1 scoring weeks have come against Dallas, Miami, and Cincinnati.

Cleveland has been a worse defense on the road this year, but their road games have also come against Baltimore, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and New England.

This is not a matchup that is overly appealing on paper, given the reward-versus-risk here.

The Browns are still above league average on the road in pressure rate (37.6%).

When Fields has been pressured, he has completed 48.2% of his passes (20th) for 4.7 yards per pass attempt (30th) and a 28.2% sack rate (27th).

The only QB1-scoring weeks the Browns have allowed have been to Lamar Jackson and Drake Maye.

Dillon Gabriel: It hasn’t been pretty for Gabriel since taking over as the starter.

He has completed 59.9% of his passes, 31st in the league.

His 4.9 yards per pass attempt are last among qualifiers for quarterback rating.

His 8.3 yards per completion are last.

Gabriel has completed a league-low 33.3% (12 of 36) of his passes 10 or more yards downfield.

Only Cam Ward (0.266) has fewer passing points per attempt than Gabriel (0.310) on that same list of 33 quarterbacks.

Kevin Stefanski is passing over play-calling duties to Tommy Rees out of the bye in hopes of sparking something from this offense.

Gabriel is a back-end QB2, but this is at least his best matchup since taking over as the starter.

The Jets are 31st in pressure rate (26.5%) and 27th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.537).
