10 weeks are officially down this NFL season.
For many leagues, the final four weeks of the fantasy season are approaching, and in some larger-scale formats, such as FFPC, the end is even closer.
Week 10 was all about the running game, punctuated by stellar performances from Jonathan Taylor and De’Von Achane.
Offenses ran for 133.9 yards per game, the highest total in a week this season.
Runners posted a run of 10 or more yards on a season-high 14.8% of their attempts in Week 10.
The league rushed for a first down or touchdown on 27.4% of runs, the highest rate in a week this season.
Due to all the success on the ground, the league's dropback rate was 57.3%, the lowest in a week this season.
59.8% of the league’s yardage last week came via passing, the lowest rate in a week this year.
Unfortunately, the passing game was impacted by more than rushing volume.
The 61.1% completion rate in Week 10 was the lowest in a week this season.
The 7.5% sack rate was the third-highest in a week this year.
Only 32.0% of passes last week resulted in a first down or a touchdown, the lowest since Week 3.
As part of those results, only 35.9% of third downs last week were picked up, the lowest rate this year.
Offenses scored on 35.0% of their drives, the lowest rate in a week this season, and as a result, the 1.95 points per drive were the fewest of the season.
We had injuries to Jaxson Dart, Davante Adams, Dalton Kincaid, and Oronde Gadsden to monitor this week.
Garrett Wilson re-injured his knee and will miss three to four weeks.
It feels like we have done a version of that thread several times this season, but points are still being scored for fantasy football, and someone is going to win seasonal games and weekly prizes.
All we can do at this point is endure and survive.
Looking for more offense this week, Week 11 has the smallest bye week we have had in several weeks, with only the Colts and Saints off.
If you are facing an opponent who has Jonathan Taylor, let out a deep breath.
We do have another international kickoff early on Sunday morning, so make sure to account for the Dolphins and Commanders playing in Spain this week.
This article will be updated throughout the week to reflect major news or injury implications.
I encourage you to use the game-by-game tables and data points here in conjunction with the player rankings that will be available every Wednesday.
Enjoy the games!
