Biggest NFL Week 12 Injuries:

Baker Mayfield Injury Update

Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield suffered a shoulder injury on the final play of the first half on Sunday night and was considered doubtful to return following halftime.

Mayfield previously went to the injury tent after taking a big hit on a run earlier in the half but emerged and played another two possessions.

Teddy Bridgewater filled in for Mayfield in the second half.

Tee Higgins Injury Update

Bengals WR Tee Higgins had to be carted off the field after he suffered a head injury against the Patriots.

His head hit hard against the turf while attempting to make a catch in the fourth quarter.

Higgins was immediately ruled out due to a concussion and will spend the week in protocol.

Alvin Kamara Injury Update

Saints RB Alvin Kamara exited Week 12 with a knee injury.

He was ruled out in the second half. Following the game, it was reported that Kamara is dealing with an MCL injury and he is expected to get an MRI on Monday.

With Kendre Miller on injured reserve, the Saints are down to Devin Neal at running back.

Other Notable Week 12 Injuries

  • Steelers WR DK Metcalf limped off the field a couple of times on Sunday due to an ankle injury. He returned to the game both times he was injured, but he will probably be limited in practice this week.
  • Patriots LT Will Campbell was carted off the field with a knee injury. He was the third Patriots lineman to go down, following Jared Wilson and Morgan Moses.
  • Cardinals DL Walter Nolen scored a touchdown in the first quarter against the Jaguars, but he later suffered a knee injury and was eventually ruled out for the rest of the game.
  • Chiefs RG Trey Smith suffered an ankle injury against the Colts. The Chiefs play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, which does not give Smith much time to recover.
  • The Vikings lost two offensive linemen against the Packers. LT Christian Darrisaw left the game with a foot injury, and LG Donovan Jackson exited with an ankle injury.
  • The Eagles lost two starters in their secondary with CB Adoree' Jackson going down with a concussion and S Reed Blankenship exiting due to a thigh injury.
