Favorite to win the 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year:
Jeremiyah Love is the current favorite to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year at +320 odds. He is followed by:
- Fernando Mendoza (+400)
- Carnell Tate (+550)
- Jordyn Tyson (+600)
- Jadarian Price (+750)
Best Bet to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year: Carnell Tate (+550)
As you can read below, Offensive Rookie of the Year almost always goes to a player drafted in the first 12 picks.
That leaves four early candidates:
- Fernando Mendoza (1st overall)
- Jeremiyah Love (3rd overall)
- Carnell Tate (4th overall)
- Jordyn Tyson (8th overall)
Unsurprisingly, that quartet makes up the top four in current ORoY odds, and none of the prices are particularly enticing this early in the offseason.
If forced to make a choice, I would lean towards Tate.
Love is the correct favorite coming out of the draft.
His draft capital almost ensures he will get a big workload in year one, and he is extremely talented.
That said, Love could run into a situation like Ashton Jeanty did last season, stacking inefficient touches on a bad team.
It also makes some sense for Mendoza to be the second favorite, though the Raiders' insistence that they intend to start Kirk Cousins in Week 1 is a concern for Mendoza's candidacy.
As for Tate, he stands out as a decent bet because he should be the No. 1 target for his team and should create big plays given his college profile and Cam Ward‘s ability to throw down the field.
I don't want to tie my money up for nine months in a +500 bet, but it also does not make much sense to chase any lower than Tyson given the history of the award.
