The Cowboys got back on the right side of the ledger on Thursday night thanks to some key contributors coming back. However, other teams, like the Saints, are forced to play without All Pro talent as we enter the final month of the NFL season.

For all the non-roster injuries, be sure to check out our Injured Reserve tracker and reserve/COVID-19 list tracker.

Otherwise, here is a look at all of the injury reports from this week and how they could affect Sunday’s action:

– Both Antonio Brown and Mike Edwards will miss the next three weeks after being suspended by the NFL for fake vaccination cards. Brown has been out since Week 6 due to an ankle injury and Edwards has been the team’s third safety, playing just 55 percent of the defensive snaps.

Ali Marpet is questionable, but there should be optimism surrounding his potential return this week after full participation in Friday’s practice. Marpet was ouot last week and his replacement, Aaron Stinnie (IR) also went down, leaving Nick Leverett as the backup option this week.

Leverett struggled against the Colts, allowing four pressures and earning a 7.8 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus.

– For the fourth-straight game, Kyler Murray is questionable and will be considered a game-time decision for Sunday. He’s been absent since suffering an ankle injury in Week 8 against the Packers.

Part of the reason why both Murray and DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) are both questionable could be the weather. As of now, there is a 75-percent chance of rain and 20-30 mph winds at Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon. The inclement weather could lead to one final start from Colt McCoy.

– The Chicago receiving corps is banged up with Marquise Goodwin and Allen Robinson both expected to be inactive on Sunday. With Justin Fields out at least another week, Andy Dalton will be targeting Darnell Mooney and Jakeem Grant in the passing game against Arizona.

Mooney has been especially productive lately, averaging over 24 yards per catch and 120 yards per game in the last two weeks.

– Rookie second-round pick Teven Jenkins is expected to be active for the first time all season after being removed from the IR on Saturday. However, he isn’t expected to start.

Jason Peters has been pretty average this season, grading out as PFF’s 16th-best tackle.

Detroit’s run defense hasn’t improved much since, allowing over 140 rushing yards in three of their last five games.

D’Andre Swift will be out this week after suffering a shoulder injury in the first half of the Lions’ Thanksgiving loss.

The running back has had a breakout sophomore season on an abysmal team, gaining nearly 1000 yards from scrimmage and scoring six touchdowns in 11 games.

Jamaal Williams, who is actually credited with eight starts this year, will take over the bulk of the work after getting 20 touches on Thanksgiving. The former Packer is averaging 4.2 yards per carry and led the team with 57 rushing yards against Minnesota in Week 5.

Calvin Anderson was moved to the IR this week, but starting left tackle Garett Bolles is back after missing two games on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The former first-round pick has allowed five sacks this season, but his pass-blocking grade is the second-best on the team, behind only Anderson.

– The Broncos could also use more Bradley Chubb after he played 30 snaps last week in his first action since returning from a 10-week stint on the IR. In his career, Chubb has 1.5 sacks and six quarterback hits in four career games against the Chiefs.

– With Lucas Niang out again and Mike Remmers on the IR, the Chiefs might turn to Kyle Long at right tackle on Sunday. The former All-Pro has spent the whole season on the IR following a leg injury in the offseason.

In fact, Long hasn’t played a down of football since 2019 after spending 2020 in retirement. If the Chiefs don’t want to throw Long right into the fire, Andrew Wylie could make his third-straight start. He’s allowed two sacks and 17 pressures since taking over at right tackle.

– Despite not practicing all week, both Riley Reiff and Trey Hopkins are considered questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers. Both guys suffered ankle injuries last week and were not on the field at the end of the Bengals’ win.

Reiff would be replaced by Isaiah Prince if he’s inactive and Trey Hill is Hopkins’ backup at center. Prince has been the Bengals’ highest-graded run blocker on PFF this year, albeit in limited action. Hill hasn’t allowed a quarterback pressure in 32 pass-blocking snaps.

DeForest Buckner is questionable, but could be on-track to play after full participation in Friday’s practice. It would be an impressive recovery considering Frank Reich wasn’t confident he’d be available anytime soon earlier this week.

However, if Buckner is held out against Houston, Taylor Stallworth will start at defensive tackle. He has six quarterback hits on the season.

Ryan Kelly will be out on Sunday after being added to the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the weekend. This will be the Pro Bowl center’s second stint on the list after spending time on it in training camp.

Danny Pinter will make his second-career start. He previously started against Tennessee as a rookie and allowed a pair of quarterback pressures, but performed well as a run-blocker, earning a 73.4 grade from PFF.

– The Colts will also get safety Khari Willis back from the IR this week. He had 1.5 sacks and two interceptions before getting injured back in October.

Terrence Brooks’s absence means A.J. Moore should get the start at safety on Sunday. Moore has played mostly special teams in his career, but has been a liability in coverage, allowing a passer rating over 140 when targeted.

David Johnson has gotten over 10 carries in each of the last two games, but he is expected to be inactive on Sunday. Rex Burkhead actually leads the team over the past two contests, but has struggled, averaging 2.2 yards per attempt.

With Philip Lindsay now on the Dolphins, former Panther Royce Freeman is the other back listed on the depth chart. However, he only played special teams in his Houston debut last week.

Speaking of necks, Mike Glennon will get to make his first start as a Giant on Sunday. Glennon posted a QBR of 36.7 in his five starts for the Jaguars last year, all losses. He did throw 25 passes for the Giants earlier in a blowout loss against the Cowboys.

Jalen Hurts suffered an ankle injury at the end of the Eagles’ loss to the Giants last week and is a game-time decision after being limited in practice all week. Earlier in the week, Hurts told reporters he was playing, although Nick Sirianni walked back some of those claims on Friday. On Saturday, the reports were even more pessimistic.

If Hurts is inactive, Gardner Minshew will make his first start as an Eagle. Minshew did play against the Jets as a rookie, tossing three touchdowns in a 29-15 win. His last start came in Week 15 of last year, a 40-14 loss at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens in which he completed 75 percent of his passes and threw a pair of touchdowns.

Robert Saleh is confident Corey Davis will play this week after returning to practice on Friday. Davis torched the Eagles in his only game against Philadelphia, catching nine passes for 161 yards and a touchdown.

– Washington will turn to Brian Johnson at kicker after Joey Slye’s injury last week. The rookie Johnson previously made four appearances for the Saints this year, making all eight of his field goal attempts, but missing three of eight extra points.

J.D. McKissic is out after suffering a concussion late in the Monday night loss last week. While Jaret Patterson is the next man up on the depth chart, McKissic’s absence could simply lead to a bigger role for Antonio Gibson in the passing game.

McKissic is second on the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards this season. One wild card could be Curtis Samuel, who was used a lot in the backfield last year when he was with the Panthers. Due to injury, Samuel has played just three games, catching five passes for 28 yards and rushing twice for 12 yards.

Darren Waller will miss his third game of the season due to knee and back injuries. Foster Moreau has gotten at least five targets in both of his starts this season, catching six passes for 60 yards against the Eagles and just one pass for three yards last week in Dallas.

Washington has allowed the 11th-most yards to opposing tight ends this season.

– Baltimore’s game against the Steelers last year was delayed three times thanks to COVID-19, but unfortunately there won’t be any rescheduling even with 13 Ravens carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Patrick Mekari, Patrick Queen and Patrick Ricard should all be active after being full participants in Friday’s practice and three other Ravens are dealing with a non-COVID illness that held them out of practice.

Queen did suffer a rib injury last week, but John Harbaugh told reporters it wasn’t anything serious.

– It’s also worth noting that Cedric Ogbuehi was released by the team on Friday.

Defensive tackle Carlos Davis is also expected to play after being activated from the IR on Saturday.

Joe Haden will miss his third straight game due to a foot injury. He has seven interceptions in 19 career games against the Ravens. James Pierre has struggled to replace Haden the last two weeks, allowing 10 catches and two touchdowns on 14 targets.

He only played 53 percent of the offensive snaps last week, but Carlos Hyde got just six carries in his 32 snaps.

Odell Beckham Jr. is trending the right way after being limited in Friday’s practice. His injury was thought to be serious earlier in the week and if he is held out on Sunday, it would be mostly precautionary due to the level of opponent.

– The news isn’t as positive for Darrell Henderson, whose availability will hinge on his pregame warmup, but the team isn’t optimistic he will be ready to go. Without Henderson in the backfield, Sony Michel should get the bulk of the work against Jacksonville.

Michel made one start earlier this season and rushed for 67 yards on 20 carries against the Buccaneers.

Brandon Aiyuk has come on strong in recent weeks, averaging nearly five catches and 70 receiving yards per game since Week 8.

Fred Warner is also expected to be out on Sunday after injuring his hamstring last week. Azeez Al-Shaair is expected to fill in at MIKE linebacker against the Seahawks.

Penny did start two weeks ago, but injured his hamstring and managed just two carries for 19 yards. The former first-round pick could be in line for more snaps against a 49ers defense that is 18th in the NFL against the run. Adrian Peterson is also expected to be active after being added to the Seattle practice squad earlier this week.
