While Tom Brady seemed to not even break a sweat in the Buccaneers win over the Eagles on Thursday night, there are a number of teams who are sweating over whether they will have the services of some of their best players come Sunday.

Tua Tagovailoa is expected to return from the IR and start on Sunday. The Dolphins offense has struggled this season, scoring over 17 points just once and ranking 31st in net yards per pass attempt.

Xavien Howard was dominant in 2020, but he has struggled this year, allowing an explosive pass play in each of the last four games and surrendering three touchdowns in Week 5 alone.

Expect Justin Coleman to start for Howard in London. He has forced just one incompletion this season, allowing 13.3 yards per completion.

He has allowed a passer rating of 141.7 when targeted this season and only 15 linebackers have more missed tackles this season.

Shaquille Quarterman will start in Jack’s spot. Quarterman has played just 45 snaps in the NFL, recording six tackles.

Joe Thuney was a full participant in practice on Friday despite dealing with a broken hand. The veteran guard hasn’t missed a game during his six years in the NFL and should be expected to start on Sunday.

Chris Jones will miss his second-straight game with a wrist injury. The Chiefs defense has struggled all season, ranking last among points allowed and yards allowed per drive.

– Kansas City will also miss Clyde Edwards-Helaire who sprained his MCL last week. Backup Darrel Williams hasn’t been terribly effective this season, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry.

– The Washington receiving corps is extra thin this week with Curtis Samuel and Cam Sims both ruled out and tight end Logan Thomas occupying a spot on the IR.

Terry McLaurin’s late-week hamstring injury really throws a wrench into things, but he is still expected to suit up. Ricky Seals-Jones will start for Thomas and Adam Humphries and DeAndre Carter are the next two leading receivers for Washington.

Despite their putrid defense, the one thing the Chiefs have done well on that side of the ball is stop wide receivers. Kansas City has allowed the ninth-least yards to opposing wide receivers this season.

It is unclear if Cook will get his normal workload, but Alexander Mattison has been playing well in recent weeks and looks deserving of a bigger role in the offense.

The running back seems to be going backwards after being limited in practice all week last week, but being downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday and Friday this week.

The Panthers could have benefitted from putting McCaffrey on the IR after he was injured, but chose against that, hoping he’d heal up quickly. Chuba Hubbard will get another start after rushing for over 100 yards against the Eagles last week.

– The loss of Saquon Barkley will put a lot of pressure on Devontae Booker to step up, but he has struggled all year, averaging just 2.8 yards per carry. However, the Rams are allowing 4.3 yards per carry to opposing running backs.

Daniel Jones is expected to play after progressing through concussion protocol this week, but it is unknown who he will be throwing to. Kenny Golladay is out while Kadarius Toney and Darius Slayton are both listed as questionable.

The outlook for Toney is optimistic, although he will be matched up against Jalen Ramsey. Sterling Shepard is also expected to return after missing two games. He was the Giants leading receiver in Weeks 1 and 2.

As of this writing, backup running back Samaje Perine is still on the reserve/COVID-19 list, so that leaves Chris Evans and practice squad member Trayveon Williams as the only depth pieces behind Mixon.

Darrell Daniels is off the reserve/COVID-19 list, but he has yet to catch a pass this season. Demetrius Harris is the only other tight end on the roster and is also searching for his first catch of the season.

Nick Chubb will be out on Sunday after missing practice this week due to a calf injury. Expect Kareem Hunt to get the bulk of the work at running back, but he is considered questionable.

Demetric Felton is the next man up on the depth chart and he has impressed as a receiver in limited snaps. Even if Hunt is a go, Felton could receive a lot of attention as a receiver out of the backfield.

Jadaveon Clowney was a surprise inactive last week due to knee soreness, but he did practice in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday this week. He might be a game-time decision again depending on how he feels during warmups.

– Browns cornerbacks are also questionable, except for Greedy Williams, who is expected to play. Rookie Greg Newsome II hasn’t played since Week 3 and Denzel Ward’s neck injury kept him limited in practice all week.

If both of those guys suit up, it could push Williams back to the bench. However, Williams has been the Browns best coverage player this season, according to PFF.
