Week 6 of the NFL DFS season has arrived, and it is time to win some big money using stacks.
While fantasy football stacks are becoming more prevalent in redraft leagues, the ability to stack players has always been one of the main strategic plays in daily fantasy.
This weekly article will focus on the best stack plays in a given week for DFS.
While these plays can apply to FanDuel and other daily fantasy sites, this article will focus primarily on DraftKings pricing.
What is stacking in DFS?
A fantasy football stack is when you take two or more players from the same team to double your chances of a big score if that team does well. This is a strategy that is especially useful in games with high over unders.
While you can stack a quarterback with a running back and or a tight end, we’ll be focusing on the best stacks available between a quarterback and his pass catchers.
What is most important when stacking in DFS?
What is most important to pay attention to, with or without stacking, is a player's cost and their ultimate output of points.
Ultimately, factoring in the elements of stacking players along with a strong return on investment on players' costs will put you in the best position to cash in this season.

Week 6 NFL DFS Stacks & Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel
Without further ado, here are some of the best DFS stack options for Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season:
QB Sam Darnold ($5,400) & WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($7,600)
- Combined Price: $13,000 – 26% of lineup salary
On paper, Sam Darnold is not as productive for fantasy as he was last season.
After averaging 19.6 points in the first quarter of last season, Darnold is entering Week 6 scoring 15 points per game.
With 26.2 points scored against the Buccaneers last week, things could be improving for Darnold.
The Seahawks will be going up against a Jaguars defense that is allowing the fifth-most points to quarterbacks.
More recently, their defense has allowed 27.2 fantasy points over the last two weeks.
This would also include the Jaguars allowing 269.3 passing yards per game over the last three weeks, the third-highest mark in the league.
On the receiving end of this Seahawks stack, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the clearest option.
Entering this week, Smith-Njigba is eighth among wide receivers with 43 targets.
He has turned those targets into the second-most receiving yards in the league, and is one of four wide receivers with five games of 10 or more points.
After allowing just 18.9 points to wide receivers in the season opener, the Jaguars have been dominated by the position.
Over the last four games, the defense has allowed 40 points per game.
QB Jordan Love ($6,200) & WR Romeo Doubs ($5,200)
- Combined Price: $11,400 – 22.8% of lineup salary
The Packers are coming off their bye week, but in Week 4, the tandem of Jordan Love and Romeo Doubs was one of the better stacks on the slate.
In that game, the duo combined for 60.1 points, the third-highest score of a quarterback and wide receiver stack on the week.
Doubs, who has already equaled his touchdown total from last season, enters this week’s matchup averaging 13.7 points per game, 3.5 more points than the prior year.
While targets among Packers wide receivers remain consistently inconsistent, Doubs leads the position and is the only one on the depth chart with five or more targets in multiple games.
The Packers pass catcher will look to build on his success against a Bengals team that is 12th in points allowed to wide receivers.
Along with that, the top-scoring wide receiver facing the Bengals this season has averaged 18 points per game.
In terms of Love, the Packers quarterback will look to have a second straight game with over 20 fantasy points, which would be the first time since the 2023 season.
He will do so against a Bengals defense that has allowed the fourth-most points to quarterbacks over the last two weeks.
They are also just one of eight defenses to allow 20 or more points to the position in at least three games.
QB Matthew Stafford ($6,400) & WR Puka Nacua ($8,700)
- Combined Price: $15,100 – 30.2% of lineup salary
Investing 30.2% of your DFS salary in one stack is the highest percentage recommended this season, but it is well worth it.
Puka Nacua‘s production speaks for itself.
Nacua is one of four wide receivers in the league to have five games with at least 7 targets.
While those other players have a combined average of 15.5 points per game, Nacua is averaging 28.6, which leads the league by 4.9 points.
With the Ravens being one of two teams with three games of 50 or more fantasy points allowed to wide receivers, there is no reason to suspect Nacua won’t deliver again.
While Nacua is the obvious play, Matthew Stafford’s last two weeks have been prime Stafford.
In the last two weeks, Stafford has thrown for 764 yards and 6 touchdowns.
This has Stafford averaging 21.3 points per game and sitting as the QB5 on the season.
Coupling Stafford’s production the last two weeks with Nacua, the Rams tandem has been a top-three stack in those games.
As mentioned earlier, the Ravens defense has surrendered plenty of fantasy points.
The defense is currently allowing the third-most passing yards per game and leads the league in giving up 2.6 passing touchdowns per game.
Those numbers have resulted in the Ravens allowing 25.4 points per game to quarterbacks, the second-highest mark in the league.
