The 2026 College Football season is right around the corner, which means it is time to start looking for the best ACC win total bets for the upcoming season.

ACC Win Total Best Bet: North Carolina Under 4.5 Wins
Betting on North Carolina to improve upon last year’s 4-8 record would require blind faith in Bill Belichick.
Belichick and his staff have been preparing fans for the likelihood of it getting worse before it gets better in Chapel Hill by publicly discussing the plan to avoid the transfer portal and build through high school recruiting.
Maybe that will work in the long run, but it likely sets up the Tar Heels to be the doormat of the ACC in 2026.
The schedule is also going to be a problem for North Carolina, as it gets dramatically more challenging for Belichick this time around.
The Tar Heels avoided Notre Dame, Miami, Pitt and Louisville last year, but they add all four teams to the schedule this season.
Only the East Tennessee State game in Week 2 can be penciled in as a probable win for the Tar Heels at this point.
ACC Win Total Best Bet: Cal Over 6.5 Wins
Cal went 7-5 during the regular season last year with a true freshman quarterback and a coach who had worn out his welcome.
Quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele now has a year of experience under his belt and what should be an improved receiving corps thanks to the addition of former Rutgers pass-catcher Ian Strong.
The addition of head coach Tosh Lupoi, former Oregon defensive coordinator and Cal graduate, is another reason this program is trending up.
Cal had been decimated by the transfer portal in recent years under head coach Justin Wilcox, but Lupoi is a renowned recruiter who has rejuvenated the program.
The Bears will have double-digit starters from the portal, which should give the team a boost, especially on offense.
In addition to Strong, tight end Dorian Thomas (New Mexico) and running back Adam Mohammed (Washington) should have an immediate impact.
ACC Win Total Best Bet: Georgia Tech Under 6.5 Wins
Brent Key has done an excellent job elevating the Georgia Tech program, but this team will have a brand new look in 2026 without quarterback Haynes King, who often willed the team to victory during his three years in Atlanta.
The Yellow Jackets also lost offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner to Florida, and he took the heir-apparent to King (Aaron Philo) with him.
That forced Georgia Tech to hit the transfer market, where it settled on Alberto Mendoza from Indiana (yes, Fernando’s brother).
Georgia Tech will also be replacing three offensive line starters.
That list includes first-round pick Keylan Rutledge and center Harrison Moore, who also followed Faulkner to Florida.
The Yellow Jackets have a few gimmes on the schedule (Mercer, Stanford, Boston College) but getting to seven wins will require some upsets against more experienced opponents.
Unless Mendoza makes a significant leap like his brother, that’s going to be a tall task.
ACC Win Total Best Bet: Virginia Over 7.5 Wins
Virginia benefited from a comically easy schedule last year, which made some fans feel that its 11-win season deserved a bit of an asterisk.
That’s a fair criticism of last year’s success, but don’t just assume that means the Cavaliers come crashing back to earth.
For starters, this year’s schedule is far from a gauntlet.
The only changes to UVA’s conference schedule are Stanford and Louisville getting swapped out with Syracuse and SMU, only a marginal upgrade in difficulty.
More importantly, there is still no Notre Dame or Miami on the schedule.
Virginia’s recent commitment to NIL should also not be ignored as a key factor in the program’s resurgence.
According to 247 Sports transfer rankings, of the top 15 players either coming or going from the Virginia program this offseason, 11 are joining Tony Elliott’s program.
The Cavaliers were late to the NIL party, but this is an alumni base with money.
The athletic department has finally started to spend it over the last two offseasons.
