Super Bowl 59 Longshot Prediction: Kareem Hunt and Saquon Barkley, 10+ rushing yards in each quarter (+2000)
Available at DraftKings
The Chiefs' rush defense is trending in the wrong direction.
Excluding Week 18 when the starters sat, the Chiefs have allowed 5.48 yards per carry to opposing running backs over their past five games, well above their season average of 3.9 yards per carry to running backs.
Hunt has taken over the lead rushing role in the playoffs with Isiah Pacheco struggling to regain his early season form in his return from injury.
In the playoffs, Hunt has rushed successfully on 48% of his runs compared to 20% for Pacheco.
Hunt has averaged 3.6 yards after contact compared to 1.5 for Pacheco.
Considering the circumstances, it's likely that Hunt will handle the majority of running back carries against the Eagles.
Hunt had at least four rush attempts in each quarter against the Bills.
Super Bowl 59 Longshot Prediction: DeAndre Hopkins Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+500)
Hopkins has been quiet in the playoffs, with one catch in the first two Chiefs playoff games.
However, he ran only one fewer route than Xavier Worthy in the red zone and was targeted in the end zone.
During his time in Kansas City, Hopkins has increased usage on passes to the end zone with a 34.6% target rate on end zone passes in the regular season and playoffs combined.
Since joining the Chiefs, Hopkins leads all Chiefs pass catchers with 8 end zone targets, three more than Travis Kelce in second.
