  • The Raiders have been outscored 65-17 in their two trips to London, including a 27-3 loss to the Seahawks in 2018.
  • The Bears have allowed 17 or fewer points in nine consecutive games dating back to last season, their longest streak as a franchise since the 1990-1991 seasons.
  • Chicago games are averaging 27.8 combined points per game, the fewest in the league.
  • Chicago ranks 30th in points per play (0.269) and 30th in yards per play (4.4) offensively while ranking second in points per play (0.174) and fourth in yards per play (4.5) defensively.
  • The Bears have allowed a touchdown on just 11.9% (5-of-42) of their opponent’s possessions, trailing only New England (1.9%) on the season.
  • Oakland wide receivers are averaging a combined 101 receiving yards per game, the fewest in the league.

Trust (spike production for that player)

  • David Montgomery: His snap share has risen every week this season and was at 69.4% with a season-high 24 touches. Those touches came in a far worse matchup against Minnesota. This week, they’ll come against an Oakland team allowing 137 yards from scrimmage to opposing backfields (21st).

On the Cusp (proxy of a player’s average)

  • Allen Robinson: He’s at 24.7% of the team targets with at least seven targets in every game. The Raiders are allowing the highest rate of 20-plus yard completions in the league and have allowed six top-25 scoring wideouts in just four games. If Taylor Gabriel returns, that plays into his strengths as well.
  • Darren Waller: He’s been a top-10 scorer in all four games and leads the position in targets (37) and receptions (33) while ranking third in yards (320) all while not even scoring a touchdown yet on the season. The Bears haven’t allowed more than four catches or more than 33 yards to an opposing tight end yet this season, but the best option they’ve faced so far is Jimmy Graham.
  • Tarik Cohen: Cohen had receiving lines of 7-45-1 and 12-156-0 in Chase Daniel’s two starts last year. He caught the one touchdown pass last week that Daniel threw, but his 2-7-1 receiving line was much more modest since the Bears running back situation is much different than a year ago with Montgomery playing more and more each week.

Bust (down-week production for that player’s standards)

  • Josh Jacobs: He’s had 113, 99, and 108 yards from scrimmage in his three favorable matchups of the season, but just 44 in his one objectively tough outlook on paper entering the week. This matchup is one of the toughest in the league for a player who hasn’t done work in the passing game. The Bears rank third in the league in rushing points allowed to opposing backfields per game (7.4).
  • Tyrell Williams: After 105 receiving yards in Week 1, Williams has 111 combined over his past three weeks. He’s been able to tread water since he’s scored a touchdown in every game this season, but this is a spot to bet on that streak coming to an end.
  • Derek Carr: His best week so far has been QB18 while the highest a passer has finished against the Bears has been QB16.

If You Must (intriguing bench option or deeper league play)

  • Chase Daniel: He was the QB16 and QB19 in his two starts a year ago, which gives him credibility in 2QB leagues in a positive matchup. The Raiders are 29th in passing points allowed over the opening month of the season.
