Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts: Hurts remained hyper-efficient last week, completing 14-of-20 (70%) passes for 202 yards (10.2 Y/A) with 2 touchdowns through the air.

He did throw an interception (his first since Week 3), but since his Week 5 bye, Hurts has completed 71.8% of his passes (5th) for 10.2 yards per attempt (2nd) and a 7.8% touchdown rate (3rd).

Hurts also did his thing as a runner on Sunday, adding 56 yards and another 2 touchdowns on the ground.

That gives him 8 touchdowns rushing over his past four games and 10 on the season.

Only Derrick Henry (12) has more.

Hurts is a front-end QB1 for fantasy and has been the steadiest front-end producer outside of Lamar Jackson.

Hurts has used pre-snap motion on a career-high 49.6% of his dropbacks in his first season with Kellen Moore.

On his dropbacks with motion, Hurts has an 8.7% touchdown rate (2nd) while averaging a league-high 9.9 yards per pass attempt.

He has posted 7.0 Y/A (18th) on snaps without motion with a 1.7% touchdown rate (31st).

Pre-snap motion has mitigated some of the issues the offensive line has had this season.

Hurts has been pressured on a career-high 43.3% of his dropbacks.

Getting to Hurts has been the way to slow down this offense.

Under pressure, Hurts has completed 52.4% of his passes (13th) for 5.8 Y/A (21st).

He has completed a league-high 79.1% of his passes from a clean pocket for 9.8 Y/A.

Washington can pressure the passer.

The Commanders are now second in the NFL in pressure rate (40.7%).

Washington has allowed only 198.6 passing yards per game (6th), but they have struggled to keep teams out of the end zone through the air.

Washington has allowed a 6.3% touchdown rate, which is 30th in the league.

They have also allowed 21.6 rushing yards per game to passers, which is 20th.

Dan Quinn is no stranger to Hurts given his time with Dallas.

Those Dallas defenses played man coverage 37.6% of the time against Hurts.

Washington is up to fourth this season in terms of man coverage on passing plays (36.5%) after rates of 61.1% and 60% in the past two games.

They also ran heavy man coverage against Lamar Jackson this season (41.7%).

If they go that route here, that could be an issue.

Hurts is averaging 10.4 Y/A (3rd) with a 9.4% touchdown rate (7th) against man coverage this season.

Jayden Daniels: Daniels gave us his first true fantasy dud in a full game played.

He ended the week as QB22 (8.6 points), setting season lows with a 50% completion rate and 5.9 yards per pass attempt.

Daniels ran for a season-low 5 yards, his first game with single-digit rushing yardage.

He also failed to throw a touchdown for the first time since Week 2 (thanks to Dyami Brown).

Daniels has had some bad touchdown luck (despite his Hail Mary).

All of his 10 touchdown passes have come on throws into the end zone.

The only other quarterbacks this season who do not have a touchdown pass on a throw that was not into the end zone are Bryce Young and Deshaun Watson.

For context, the league rate is 59.1% of all touchdown passes are balls thrown into the end zone.

Daniels has completed five passes in which the receiver was tackled at the one-yard line, which is tied for the most in the league.

In my expected touchdown rates, Daniels has thrown 4.1 fewer touchdowns than expected, ahead of only Geno Smith and Daniel Jones (4.6 each).

While we will not dismiss the body of work Daniels put together as a rookie based on last week, it was another highlight for something we have called out recently here.

He has been more of a back-end QB1 lately than a ceiling crasher.

He has not been higher than QB9 since Week 4.

That back-end QB1 range is where I am handling him this week.

He still has enough rushing ability to tread water if he never gets the positive passing touchdown regression we are looking for this season.

Washington has had one of the easiest passing schedules in the league, which has tightened up lately.

Daniels has faced only two pass defenses in the top 10 this season (Bears and Steelers).

In those games, he had the two lowest completion rates of the season (55.3% and 50%).

He gets his third matchup against a top-10 pass defense here as the Eagles have climbed up to sixth in passing points allowed per attempt (0.327).

They have allowed one touchdown pass since their Week 5 bye.

Philadelphia has not played many good passers since their bye (Deshaun Watson, Daniel Jones, and Cooper Rush).

Still, they also allowed only 6.3 yards per pass attempt to Joe Burrow and 5.5 yards per attempt to Trevor Lawrence as part of that run.

This will be another good test to measure how far the Philly defense has come as well as an added test for Daniels.
