Grinding The Wire Advice: Week 3 Waiver Wire Targets

Week 2 was certainly entertaining in terms of incredible comebacks and finishes, however, the trend of decreased fantasy scoring continued. Early in the season, wide receivers are outproducing running backs in terms of fantasy scoring which gives those who drafted with the idea of having wide receivers in the flex an advantage.

Dan Pizzuta’s article The Rise of the Anti-Aggressive NFL Defense explains the decrease in scoring and this is likely a trend that we as fantasy players need to account for.

For the 0-2 teams don’t panic and spend foolishly, be aggressive but not wasteful as the waiver targets are thin at prolonged upside.
