Rich Hribar's Week 9 Core DFS Plays

Rashee Rice ($7,200 FanDuel/$6,400 DraftKings)

Rice returned to the lineup to catch 7 of 8 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown against a tough Denver defense.

The Chiefs played him cautiously but featured him on the field.

Rice was limited to 61.4% of the routes but was targeted on 29.6% of his routes run.

With no setbacks, we should expect his route rate to return to the 80-90% range he had before his injury.

Rice has been efficient when playing this year, averaging 2.01 yards per route.

He has been effective after the catch, averaging 31.4 yards per game after the catch (WR7).

Rich Hribar's Week 9 Tournament DFS Plays

Malik Willis ($6,500 FanDuel/$5,100 DraftKings)

Willis has thrown multiple touchdowns in each of the past two weeks while completing 66.7% and 65.6% of his passes in those two games, his two-highest rates of the season.

He can make that three in a row here against a Detroit defense allowing a league-high 21.3 passing points per game.

The Lions have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in eight consecutive games, the longest active streak in the league.

Every quarterback to face Detroit has finished QB13 or higher, which includes Jacoby Brissett (25.3 points), Kyler Murray (19.9 points), and Geno Smith (26 points).

The Lions are also 27th in rushing points allowed to quarterbacks (3.7 per game), coming off allowing 35 yards rushing to Murray.

Lions at Dolphins

Our weekly Lions matchup has a 50.5-point total.

This one isn't in Detroit, but Miami is expected to be 82 degrees and clear on Sunday.

The Lions average 2.74 points per drive, fourth in the league.

The Dolphins allow a league-high 2.66 points per drive.

We know what to do with Detroit, but Miami has been pushing back lately.

The Dolphins have scored a touchdown on 31% of their drives over the past three games (7th) compared to a 10.8% touchdown rate over the opening four weeks (32nd).

Miami makes it easier to fully stack this game since all their options are affordable.

It is not always easy to stack Jared Goff with Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and one of Jameson Williams or Sam LaPorta, but you can do that with Caleb Douglas and Greg Dulcich.

If you are playing things through Malik Willis, you free up even more salary.

Especially with so many cheap ancillary plays on the slate outside this game, this is an easy game to full stack.
