What is a first touchdown scorer bet?
To win this bet, you must correctly pick the player to score the first touchdown in the game — the first player who receives a touchdown pass or crosses the goal line with the ball.
A touchdown scorer is defined as the player in possession of the ball in the end zone and not the player who throws the TD.
What is an anytime touchdown scorer bet?
To win this NFL bet, you must correctly pick a player who will score a touchdown. Similar to first touchdown bets, the player is the one who crosses the end zone himself, not the QB who throws to that player.

Bengals vs. Bucs 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Ja'Marr Chase (WR, Bengals) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+600)
According to the Fantasy Points Data Suite 2.0, the Bengals are tied for first in pass rate over expected (7.9% PROE) since 2023. Conversely, the Buccaneers have faced the highest PROE (4.3%) since 2023. Chase was second on the team in receiving touchdowns (8) but led the Bengals in expected receiving touchdowns (8.8) and targets inside the 20-yard line (22) last year.
Bengals vs. Bucs Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Cade Otton (TE, Buccaneers) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+330)
The Bengals wisely made some splashes on defense, but Cincinnati was genuinely pitiful against tight ends last year, and Al Golden remains the defensive coordinator. Cincinnati allowed NFL highs in targets (162), receptions (116), receiving yards (1,444), and receiving touchdowns (16) to tight ends in 2025. Otton had only 1 end-zone target and 1 receiving touchdown last season, but he posted 8 end-zone targets and 4 receiving touchdowns in 2024. Furthermore, Emeka Egbuka and Jalen McMillan have dealt with injuries during the offseason, which could open up additional opportunities in Week 1 if either or both aren't sharp.
Lions vs. Saints 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Jahmyr Gibbs (RB, Lions) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+295)
Gibbs' anytime TD scorer line is too chalky to suggest, but he's likely to reach paydirt. Banking on sequencing that gets him the first touchdown is appealing. In six career games without David Montgomery, Gibbs has logged 110.8 rushing yards per game, 36.5 receiving yards per game, 7 touchdowns, and 7 expected touchdowns.
Lions vs. Saints Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Chris Olave (WR, Saints) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+145)
Olave excelled with Tyler Shough. In nine games that Shough played at least 20 snaps in his rookie campaign, Olave recorded 9.2 targets per game, a 26.2% target share, 6.2 receptions per game, 80.3 receiving yards per game, 6 targets inside the 20-yard line, 2 end-zone targets, 6 receiving touchdowns, and 4.8 expected touchdowns.
Titans vs. Jets 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Breece Hall (RB, Jets) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+500)
Hall got paid handsomely in the offseason, and while Braelon Allen‘s size might appeal to the Jets for short-yardage work, Allen isn't a shoo-in to handle goal-line work. Additionally, Hall has the explosiveness to score a long touchdown and the receiving chops to score as a pass-catching weapon. Frank Reich will also likely lean on the run early. The Panthers ranked 19th in pass rate over expected (-0.2%) through his 11 games as their head coach in 2023, and the Aaron Glenn-led Jets were 32nd in PROE (-6.7%) last season.
Titans vs. Jets Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Adonai Mitchell (WR, Jets) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+420)
Mitchell didn't play with Garrett Wilson last year. The team's quarterback is now Geno Smith, who Mitchell hasn't played with, and Frank Reich is the new offensive coordinator. Still, Mitchell has proven to be a target earner, with 0.26 targets per route run (TPRR) in his career.
Colts vs. Ravens 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Derrick Henry (RB, Ravens) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+400)
Per TruMedia, in two years with the Ravens, Henry has been on the field for 88.1% of Baltimore's offensive snaps inside the five-yard line and piled up 34 touchdowns in 34 games. King Henry has also handled 87.5% of Baltimore's rush attempts inside the five-yard line since joining the Ravens.
Colts vs. Ravens Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Tyler Warren (TE, Colts) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+230)
Warren was first on the Colts in targets inside the 20-yard line (18) last year, and he tallied 16 of his targets inside the 20-yard line in Daniel Jones‘ starts. In Danny Dimes' 13 starts last year, Warren scored 4 touchdowns with 5.8 expected touchdowns. Warren is also a Wildcat/tush-push threat after handling 8.6% of Indy's rush attempts inside the five-yard line and scoring a rushing touchdown last year.
Steelers vs. Falcons 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Pat Freiermuth (TE, Steelers) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+1800)
The Mike McCarthy-coached Cowboys ranked seventh in pass rate (57.9%) inside the 10-yard line in 2024, and they were fifth in pass rate (56.0%) inside the 10-yard line from 2021 through 2024. Reunited with Aaron Rodgers, McCarthy may opt to lean on his veteran quarterback in scoring territory. Freiermuth was second in receiving touchdowns (4), tied for third in targets inside the 20-yard line (8), tied for second in end-zone targets (4), and third in touchdowns on end-zone targets (2) for the Steelers last year.
Steelers vs. Falcons Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
DK Metcalf (WR, Steelers) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+210)
McCarthy's play-calling tendencies in his final years with the Cowboys also favor Metcalf's touchdown outlook. The big-bodied wideout paced the Steelers in receiving touchdowns (6), expected receiving touchdowns (5.0), end-zone targets (11), and receiving touchdowns on end-zone targets (4) in 2025, and he was second in targets inside the 20-yard line (13). Atlanta's coverage tendencies also favor Metcalf. The Falcons were fourth in single-high coverage rate (59.4%) last year, and Metcalf had 0.28 targets per route run and 2.38 yards per route run on 192 routes against single-high coverage last year.
Panthers vs. Bears 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Colston Loveland (TE, Bears) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+1200)
Even with a slow ramp-up last year, Loveland was tied for second on the Bears in receiving touchdowns (6), tied for second in expected touchdowns (6.0), first in targets inside the 20-yard line (16), third in end-zone targets (6), and tied for second in touchdowns on end-zone targets (3). He also draws a defense that was vulnerable against tight ends last year, allowing them the eighth-most receiving yards (1,019), the second-most yards per target (9.18), and 7 receiving touchdowns in the regular season.
Panthers vs. Bears Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Jalen Coker (WR, Panthers) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+285)
The Bears have a shaky secondary, at best, and Coker finished the 2025 season on a high note. In five games after Carolina's Week 14 bye last year, Coker led the Panthers in receiving touchdowns (3), targets inside the 20-yard line (4), end-zone targets (3), and touchdown receptions on end-zone targets (2).
Jaguars vs. Browns 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Brenton Strange (TE, Jaguars) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+1100)
Strange was one of two players on the Jaguars to reach double-digit targets inside the 20-yard line last year, ranking second on the club with 11. He scored 3 receiving touchdowns in 13 games, with all 3 scores coming on his only 3 end-zone targets.
Jaguars vs. Browns Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Parker Washington (WR, Jaguars) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+200)
Washington forced his way into a prominent role last season. Despite being buried on the depth chart early last year, he finished second on the Jaguars in receiving touchdowns (6). More importantly, he was first in expected receiving touchdowns (6.5), targets inside the 20-yard line (15), end-zone targets (15), and touchdowns on end-zone targets (5). He scored 5 of his 6 receiving touchdowns in his final nine games last year. Washington also scored 2 punt return touchdowns, giving him another path to an anytime touchdown.
Texans vs. Bills 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Nico Collins (WR, Texans) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+1000)
Former HC Sean McDermott‘s defenses invited the run in favor of limiting explosive passing play, and Collins still scored a touchdown on a 67-yard reception against the Bills in 2024, injuring his hamstring in the process and exiting the contest with only 9 snaps played. Jim Leonhard‘s defensive play-calling tendencies remain to be seen, but if he's willing to dedicate more resources to stopping the run, the odds of Collins scoring an explosive touchdown to open the scoring would increase. In addition, despite missing three games last year, Collins tied for the team lead with Jayden Higgins (out for the year) in touchdown receptions (6) and led the way in expected touchdown receptions (6.6), targets inside the 20-yard line (16), and end-zone targets (12) in 16 contests.
Texans vs. Bills Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Dalton Kincaid (TE, Bills) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+340)
Kincaid played through a PCL sprain last year and also dealt with a hamstring injury, and he once again opted for rest and rehab instead of surgery for the PCL after consulting medical experts. He'll never be healthier in 2026 than now, and Kincaid is coming off leading the Bills in touchdown receptions (7) in just 14 games with a 38.6% snap share and a 45.7% route participation rate. Also, as Rich Hribar pointed out in the Fantasy Football Worksheet, the Texans ranked 27th in touchdown rate allowed (7.2%) to tight ends.
Raiders vs. Dolphins 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Ashton Jeanty (RB, Raiders) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+380)
Jeanty's 95.2% snap share on plays inside the five-yard line last year was the highest mark among running backs, albeit under a different coaching staff. That said, the Seahawks were 31st in pass rate (31.0%) and 29th in PROE (-10.8%) inside the five-yard line last year with Klint Kubiak as the OC. Bettors should monitor Jeanty's practice participation, but if he logs a full practice before the weekend, that would assuage some performance concerns. And even if Jeanty is on a snap count, it would make sense to limit the second-year running back's snaps on low-leverage plays instead of those near the goal line.
Raiders vs. Dolphins Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Malik Willis (QB, Dolphins) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+340)
Bobby Slowik is Miami's offensive coordinator and play-caller this year, and in two seasons (2023-2024) in those positions for the Texans, Houston was tied for seventh in PROE (3.2%). A top-10 PROE ranking, if it carried over to the Dolphins, would open the door to scrambling opportunities for Willis. Willis' 14.5% scramble rate is the highest among 76 quarterbacks with at least 50 dropbacks since 2024. He has the juice to score a long rushing touchdown, and his size and rushing ability are weapons near the goal line, too.
Vikings vs. Packers 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Jordan Mason (RB, Vikings) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+800)
Playing time at running back was tight inside the five-yard line for the Vikings last year, but Mason's 58.1% snap share inside the five-yard line was slightly higher than Aaron Jones‘ 57.1% mark. The gap on carries in that area was higher, though, as Mason handled 53.8% of the team's carries inside the five-yard line compared to 42.9% for Jones. Green Bay's defense was a run-funnel unit last year, too, ranking 31st in PROE (-3.7%) faced and 27th in PROE (-11.0%) faced inside the five-yard line.
Vikings vs. Packers Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Matthew Golden (WR, Packers) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+330)
Brian Flores loves to heat up quarterbacks, as evidenced by the Vikings leading the NFL in blitz rate (44.7%) in 2025 and sporting an NFL-high 46.3% blitz rate since he took the defensive reins for the Vikings in 2023. Golden had a 20% target rate per route, 1.95 yards per route, and 13 receptions on 81 routes against the blitz last year. Romeo Doubs also leaves behind team highs of 3 receiving touchdowns, 4.1 expected receiving touchdowns, 4 end-zone targets, 3 receiving touchdowns on end-zone targets, and 9 targets inside the 20-yard line from the 2025 season, and Golden can help fill that void.
Eagles vs. Commanders 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Jalen Hurts (QB, Eagles) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+700)
Hurts had a team-high 8 rushing touchdowns last year, a 37.5% rush share inside the five-yard line, a 53.6% success rate, and a 27.6% stuff rate. Moreover, Hurts is sixth in scramble rate (8.2%) among 33 qualified quarterbacks since 2024.
Eagles vs. Commanders Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Dallas Goedert (TE, Eagles) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+230)
The Commanders were tied for the second-most receiving touchdowns allowed (12) to tight ends last year. Meanwhile, Goedert led the Eagles in receiving touchdowns (12), expected receiving touchdowns (9.0), and targets inside the 20-yard line (17). The team traded A.J. Brown to the Patriots, removing another big-bodied target from Goedert's path to red-zone targets.

Ladd McConkey (WR, Chargers) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+800)
Mike McDaniel has crafted some impressive rushing attacks in his coaching career. However, the Dolphins were 11th in PROE (2.7%) and sixth in pass rate (51.2%) inside the five-yard line during his four years as their head coach. Miami was also second in motion rate (72.8%) inside the five-yard line. Since 2024, McConkey is first on the Chargers in first-read rate (28.0%), first in targets inside the 20-yard line (14), first in touchdown receptions (10), first in end-zone targets (12), and tied for first in touchdowns on end-zone targets (6) on plays using motion in 34 games.
Chargers vs. Cardinals Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Oronde Gadsden (TE, Chargers) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+600)
Charlie Kolar and David Njoku muddy the waters in the tight end room for Gadsden and will likely be a thorn in his side. Still, Miami's offenses ranked 22nd in 11-personnel rate (39.5%) inside the five-yard line in McDaniel's four years as head coach, so multiple tight ends should regularly be on the field in scoring territory. The pass-catching tight end was also a favorite of Justin Herbert‘s in the red zone last in his rookie campaign, ranking tied for second on the team in targets inside the 20-yard line (15), fourth in receiving touchdowns (3), fourth in expected receiving touchdowns (4.7), fourth in end-zone targets (6), and fourth in touchdowns on end-zone targets (2).
Giants vs. Cowboys 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Ryan Flournoy (WR, Cowboys) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+2200)
Flournoy was targeted more often, caught more passes, and piled up more receiving yards without CeeDee Lamb last year, but he found the end zone zero times in those games. In 12 games with Lamb playing at least 20 snaps, Flournoy recorded 4 receiving touchdowns, 3.0 expected receiving touchdowns, 6 targets inside the 20-yard line, 4 end-zone targets, and 2 receiving touchdowns on end-zone targets. In addition, Dallas was eighth in PROE inside the five-yard line (5.9%) and tied for fourth in 11-personnel usage (45.5%) in that area of the field, and they had a 2.8% PROE and 54.4% rate of 11-personnel inside the 15-yard line.
Giants vs. Cowboys Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Jaxson Dart (QB, Giants) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+200)
Dart's 9.5% scramble rate as a rookie was second only to Drake Maye‘s 10.3% among qualified quarterbacks last year. Dart scored 9 rushing touchdowns and handled 33.3% of Big Blue's rush attempts inside the five-yard line in 2025. Even if John Harbaugh would like to coax some of the rushing out of Dart's game, scoring territory is the ideal area to weaponize Dart's legs, and his impulses can also play a hand in him scrambling to paydirt.
Chiefs @ Broncos 1st TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Kenneth Walker (RB, Chiefs) is our pick for the first TD scorer bet (+500)
The reigning Super Bowl MVP has escaped a shared backfield, where Walker played only 28.6% of Seattle's snaps inside the five-yard line during the regular season compared to 75.0% for Zach Charbonnet. The Chiefs were second in PROE (8.8%) and ninth in PROE (5.2%) inside the five-yard line last season, but they might ease Patrick Mahomes‘ load since he's coming back from reconstructive knee surgery. Walker has the home-run ability to rip off a long touchdown run and the lack of backfield competition to score from the red zone.
Chiefs @ Broncos Anytime TD Scorer Bet Prediction:
Jaylen Waddle (WR, Broncos) is our pick for the anytime TD scorer bet (+205)
Sean Payton has a new toy, and he might not be able to resist showing Waddle off. The speedy wideout is joining an offense that was third in PROE (5.6%) last season and sixth in PROE (8.5%) inside the five-yard line. Waddle is also facing a revamped secondary. The Chiefs traded Trent McDuffie and lost Jaylen Watson in free agency after they were the club's starting cornerbacks in 2025. Bryan Cook, one of their starting safeties last year, also departed in free agency. Miscommunication in a new collection of cornerbacks and safeties could lead to a long touchdown from Waddle, and he can barbecue the defense in the red zone as well.
