Quarterback
Jalen Hurts: Hurts was not his best as a passer again in a tough matchup for real football, but he once again posted enough counting stats to get over as a QB1 for fantasy.
Hurts completed 57.8% of his passes (26-of-45) for 298 yards (6.6 Y/A) with a touchdown against San Francisco, adding 20 yards and his 12th rushing touchdown of the year.
Hurts has now thrown for fewer than 7.0 yards per pass attempt in three straight games. He has completed fewer than 60% of his passes in the past two weeks.
For fantasy, it has not impacted him, however.
Hurts was QB6 (23.9 points), his 11th straight game posting QB1 scoring output and his ninth week over that span ending up as a top-six scorer.
Hurts has faced a daunting gallery of pass defenses since Week 6. His touchdown equity in the offense has anchored him as a QB1 throughout that stretch.
He gets another tough draw against a Dallas defense that has held him to 207 and 155 passing yards in their past two matchups, but Hurts still managed to throw multiple passing touchdowns in each of those games while adding a rushing score.
In the Week 9 matchup. Hurts did not stack passing yardage, but he did average 9.0 Y/A, which matched a season high.
Dallas has been a boom-or-bust pass defense of late.
They have allowed a 300-yard passer in two consecutive weeks and a QB1 scorer in three of their past five games, with the exceptions being Tommy DeVito and Bryce Young. That includes allowing the QB1 overall last week to Geno Smith.
The Cowboys have allowed a QB1 fantasy scorer in five of their past eight games.
The Cowboys have allowed 15 passing touchdowns since Week 5, 28th in the league.
