As we roll along this offseason, we are laying the groundwork for early best-ball drafts, dynasty leagues, and everything else under the fantasy sun as we gear up for the next NFL season.
The 2025 rankings have already been posted in full on the site, but we wanted to add some notes to each position.
These will move and be updated throughout the offseason as the landscape changes.
These rankings will include only a brief description for each player.
I will also provide more in-depth player write-ups, complete with full tiers, in our 2025 NFL Preview book, which is forthcoming.

Fantasy QB Rankings 2025:
- Josh Allen
- Lamar Jackson
- Jalen Hurts
- Jayden Daniels
- Joe Burrow
2025 Fantasy Football Quarterback Rankings:
1. Josh Allen: The best dual-asset fantasy scorer has closed as a top three scorer in five consecutive seasons.
2. Lamar Jackson: His passing production has taken a significant step forward under Todd Monken. He has finished as the QB3 and the QB1 in points per game in back-to-back MVP-caliber seasons.
3. Jalen Hurts: He has been the QB6, QB1, QB2, and QB5 in points per game over the past four seasons and rushed for double-digit touchdowns in every season as a starter. The Eagles should be pushed more in 2025, and the weaponry was not at full strength for most of last season.
4. Jayden Daniels: He was the QB6 in points per game in his rookie season. Washington will face a more challenging schedule in 2025, but Daniels has the blend of rushing and passing upside to push the front of the position regularly. The team added around him in the offseason.
5. Joe Burrow: Some fragility as he doesn’t have the rushing floor as the top options, but Burrow is one of only two passers to average over 35 pass attempts per game over the past three seasons. Paired with the top pass catcher in the league and remaining questions surrounding the Cincinnati defense, Burrow’s passing upside remains sky high.
