- The Raiders are averaging 2.46 points per drive (9th) despite averaging 26.3 yards per drive (26th).
- The Raiders have forced a turnover on a league-high 25.7% of opponent possessions.
- The Raiders have a 47.4% success rate on passing plays (10th), but a 29% success rate on rushing plays (30th).
- Kansas City has a league-high 50% success rate on rushing plays and a 51% success rate on pass plays (5th).

Chiefs vs. Raiders Fantasy Quarterback Preview
Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes was not asked to do much on Sunday, but when the Chiefs did throw the ball, they were efficient.
Mahomes was 20 of 24 (83.3%) for 246 yards (10.2 Y/A), with 2 touchdowns and an interception (on a tipped pass).
He ended the week as the QB20 (15.9 points), which looks worse since it was such a high-scoring week overall.
We should see more push here in a divisional game against the undefeated Raiders.
If so, Mahomes has been excellent these past two weeks.
Mahomes is averaging 8.3 yards per pass attempt, his best rate since 2019.
His 68.4% completion rate would be a career-high.
He is playing under center at a career-high 41.8% rate and using play action at a career-best 34.7% rate.
The Chiefs are finally pushing the buttons we have been begging them to push the past few seasons.
A competitive game environment puts him right back as a QB1 option.
We will also get further clarity on this Las Vegas defense.
The Raiders have 4 interceptions and 10 sacks, allowing a 61.5% completion rate (8th) and 6.9 yards per pass attempt (15th).
The Raiders led the NFL in defensive success rate (68.5%) in their first two weeks against the Dolphins and Chargers but fell to 28th last week against the Saints (50%).
They did limit Tyler Shough to 6.1 yards per pass attempt, but he also threw 4 touchdowns.
Kirk Cousins
Cousins kept rolling on Sunday, completing 22 of 33 passes (66.7%) for 248 yards (7.5 Y/A) with 3 more passing touchdowns.
He has thrown 3 touchdowns in all three games.
He has needed all of those touchdowns to crack in as a weekly back-end QB1, so if those do come down, we will see more of the floor-based QB2 he is, peripherally.
Cousins the QB17 in expected points, but the QB9 in points scored.
He has thrown 9 touchdowns on an expectation of 5.2.
That said, I don't think many gamers are pushing him as a QB1, and we don't necessarily have to hide from him as a floor-based QB2.
This will be a tougher matchup than the three he has had to open the season, but we don't know exactly how great this Kansas City defense is yet, either.
I do believe they could be good because I believe in Steve Spagnuolo, but we have seen them face Bo Nix, Daniel Jones, and Malik Willis to open the season.
The Chiefs have been vulnerable to the play-action pass against those guys.
On play-action passes, the Chiefs have allowed a 75.8% (25 of 33) completion rate (29th) for 8.7 Y/A (24th).
On non-play-action passes, they have allowed a 54.8% completion rate (3rd) and a league-low 4.3 Y/A.
Using play action, Cousins has a 141.2 rating (2nd), completing 73.1% (19 of 26) of his throws (7th) for 9.3 Y/A (7th) and a league-high 19.2% touchdown rate (zero interceptions).
On non-play-action dropbacks, Cousins has completed 65.2% of his passes (20th) for 6.4 Y/A (25th), a 6.1% touchdown rate (11th), and a 4.5% interception rate (29th).
