NFL Draft Prop: Kool-Aid McKinstry draft position under 28.5

This prop is -130 at DraftKings and -138 at FanDuel.

Ryan McCrystal currently has Kool-Aid McKinstry going No. 17 overall to the Jaguars in his Final 2024 NFL Mock Draft.

We identified cornerback as the No. 1 need for the Jaguars, and several other teams in that range could use help in the defensive backfield.

McKinstry is a technician who rarely gets forced into mistakes. Receivers of all types have to work hard to create separation, especially when he’s in press coverage.

What are his weaknesses? What concerns do teams have?

He gets so caught up in mirroring the receiver’s route and limiting separation that he fails to consistently turn and play the ball. That trend will bother certain coaches more than others, but regardless, don’t expect him to force many turnovers unless his approach is altered.
