Trust = spike production for that player
Quarterback
Patrick Mahomes: Mahomes and this offense continued to sputter on Monday night against the Eagles.
Mahomes threw for a career-low 4.1 yards per pass attempt.
He completed 55.8% of his passes, his lowest rate since the season opener.
Of course, both of those we impacted by five dropped passes, one of which was a potential 51-yard touchdown.
The Chiefs have now been credited with 20 drops this season, tied for 27th in the league.
We have been mentioning it for weeks, but he is pacing for career-lows in yards per pass attempt (6.9 Y/A), yards per completion (10.4 yards), and touchdown rate (5.0%). His 2.4% interception rate is tracking to be a career-high.
A down Mahomes season is still a good season for most of the league, but he has not been a front-end fantasy producer.
Mahomes has now been the QB32, QB12, and QB14 over the past three games.
He has reached 20 fantasy points in just one of his past seven games with two of those seven games higher than QB10 in weekly scoring.
You are still pushing out Mahomes as a QB1 and he runs into a better spot to get right here.
The good news is that the Raiders are a passive defense.
They are 21st in terms of pressure rate (32.1%).
When Mahomes has not been pressured, he is completing 75.2% of his passes (sixth) with 16 touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Raiders are blitzing 21.5% of the time (25th) on passing plays.
You used to never blitz Mahomes, but he is averaging 6.0 Y/A when blitzed, ahead of only Deshaun Watson (5.7), Gardner Minshew (5.2), and Daniel Jones (4.7).
The Raiders just allowed 325 passing yards to Tua Tagovailoa, but Josh Allen is the only passer to throw more than two touchdowns against them this season.
