  • The 261 rushing yards by Green Bay in Week 2 were their most in a game since 2003.
  • The Titans have been outscored 38-7 in the second half this season, the worst differential in the league.
  • The Packers have 18 plays that have gained 15 or more yards, tied for the most in the NFL.
  • Green Bay has allowed 17 plays of 15 or more yards on defense, tied for the most in the NFL.
  • 14.3% of Green Bay’s drives have failed to achieve a first down, the lowest rate through two weeks.
  • 50.0% of Tennessee’s drives have failed to achieve a first down, 29th in the league.
  • The Packers have a takeaway on a league-high 28.6% of opponent possessions.
  • The Titans are one of four remaining teams without a takeaway on defense.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Packers QB: Making his first start with Green Bay after joining them via trade in the preseason, Malik Willis had his best game as a pro.

He went 12-of-14 passing for 8.7 yards per pass attempt with a touchdown, adding 41 yards rushing.

All of that added up to a usable QB2 in fantasy as he ended the week QB17 (12.9 points).

Now, the landscape of the position boosted the viability of that pedestrian point total, but Matt LaFleur was in his bag on Sunday and put Willis in a position to do enough to win the game.

Can they do the same on the road this weekend with Willis going back to Tennessee?

Green Bay had a pass rate of 29% below expectations in Week 2.

The last time that a team was that far below passing expectations was…the first time that Willis started an NFL game back in 2022 (-36% below expectations).

In his four career starts now, his teams have thrown the ball -36%, -20%, -24%, and -29% below expectations.

Willis only threw 4 passes 10 or more yards downfield last week, tied for the fewest in the league.

That all could be irrelevant, however, because Jordan Love was able to practice in a limited fashion the final three days of this week.

Do the Packers push Love this week, or is this more gamesmanship from them this week?

They did not declare Willis the starter until as late as possible a week ago.

If Love does play, we have have to account for volatility.

Not only the risk of re-injury for his knee, but the impact this can have on his mobility.

Love is someone who extends plays in the passing game.

If Willis starts again this week,  I don’t believe that the Titans are going to get run on to the degree that Gus Bradley’s outfit was trampled last week, but LaFluer deserves some benefit of the doubt if you are looking at an open QB2 spot in 2QB formats.

Gamers just lost Tua Tagovailoa and some may even have been starting Bryce Young.

I would take the floor potential of Willis over options such as Bo Nix, Daniel Jones, Jacoby Brissett, and Matthew Stafford this week as a few options.

If Love plays, he is a volatile QB2 due to the risk of re-injury or not playing 100%.

Will Levis: Levis sits as the QB29 in scoring after two weeks, right behind Jacoby Brissett and ahead of Caleb Williams.

He played marginally better in Week 2 against the Jets than in the season opener but once again had a pair of crippling turnovers.

The Titans have been in a position to win each of their first two games, but those turnovers have capsized opportunities.

Brian Callahan has tried to rein Levis in as well.

30% of his passes have been 10 or more yards downfield (18th) after a 41.6% rate (1st) as a rookie.

But on those shorter throws, Levis is 30th in rating (66.8), and his 3.6 yards per pass attempt on those attempts is ahead of only Bryce Young and Trevor Lawrence.

If you are looking to give Levis some leeway, he has faced two stingy pass defenses that limit more capable quarterbacks.

Green Bay bounced back last weekend against Anthony Richardson and the Colts, but this is the best matchup that Levis has had on paper over the opening three weeks.

That is not enough to use Levis as more than a back-end QB2, however, because we are expecting the Packers to try and slow down this game and limit overall play volume.
