- The Panthers have 376 fewer yards than their opponents through two games, the worst in the league. The next closest team is at -220 yards compared to their opponent.
- The 26.6% success rate for Carolina on offense is the lowest for a team through two weeks since 2013.
- The Panthers are 2 for 22 (9.1%) on third downs to open the season. That is the worst third down conversion rate for a team through 2 weeks in the 2000s.
- 62.5% of the Carolina drives have failed to gain a first down, the worst rate in the league. The league average is 34.7%.
- The Raiders have a league-low 18.2% success rate on running back runs, the worst rate for a team through two weeks since 2017.
- 82.4% of the yardage gained by the Raiders has come via passing, the highest rate in the league.
- 54.8% of the yardage allowed by Carolina has come via rushing, 30th in the league.

Quarterback
Gardner Minshew: Minshew has been solid to open the season, completing a league-high 77.5% of his passes for 7.5 yards per pass attempt (QB12).
He does have 2 interceptions and 9 sacks to drag down his EPA per dropback.
His 2.8% inaccurate target rate is third in the league through two weeks.
This has not meant a lot for Minshew himself.
He has been QB21 (10.8 points) and QB19 (11.5 points).
But Minshew has been good enough for us to care about the skill players in Las Vegas, and we are grateful for that.
While Minshew is a QB2, he can be used as a matchup-based option with added confidence.
The Panthers are dead last in the NFL with an 18.8% pressure rate despite blitzing at the third-highest rate (35.4%).
Carolina is 31st in passing points allowed per pass attempt (0.709) and could be mildly competitive with their quarterback change, at least more so than under Byrce Young.
Andy Dalton: Dalton will get a chance to start in Week 3 as Carolina attempts to determine what they have on offense this season, something they could not gauge with the way Bryce Young played the opening two weeks.
Dalton should be picked up in 2QB formats.
I don’t believe this is a 2023 Joe Flacco moment for Dalton, but all we are looking for is a level of offensive competence so that he can either be a 2QB option or we can use the few skill players in this offense that were drafted.
Dalton made one start a year ago, completing 34-of-58 passes for 361 yards and 2 touchdowns.
He finished as QB7 (23.5 points), which was more fantasy points than Young scored in any of his starts last season.
He started 14 games with the Saints in 2022, averaging 7.6 yards per pass attempt, throwing 18 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
We will gladly take it if we can get any marriage between those numbers and his lone start a year ago.
The Raiders are 30th in pressure rate (22.2%) and sit middle of the pack in passing points allowed per attempt (19th).
