Quarterback
Jordan Love: Love kept his strong play over the second half of the season going on Sunday.
Closing as QB5 (23.9 points), Love has now finished as QB13 or higher in six of his past seven games.
Over that span, he has completed 65.4% of his passes (ninth) for 7.4 yards per pass attempt (12th) with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions.
His 101.9 rating over that span is fifth in the league, and he is second in the NFL in EPA per dropback (0.22) over that stretch behind Brock Purdy.
This will be a test for that hot run.
When these teams played in Week 8, Love was QB18 (14.6 points). He threw for a season-low 5.6 yards per pass attempt in that game.
Minnesota only blitzed Love 36.9% of the time in that game, well below their 46.9% blitz rate on the season.
They made the right calls as Love was worse when Minnesota dropped back in that game.
When they did not blitz, Love was 13-of-24 (54.2%) for 131 yards (5.5 Y/A) with an interception.
Against the blitz, he was 11-of-17 (64.7%) for 98 yards (5.8 Y/A) with a touchdown.
The Vikings are seventh in passing points allowed per attempt (0.354) and have allowed one QB1 scoring week over their past 10 games.
I am handling Love as a floor-based QB2 versus chasing his QB1 production over the back half of the season.
Jaren Hall: Hall is going to get the call this Sunday Night for the Vikings after Nick Mullens turned the ball over four times on Sunday.
We were robbed of getting Hall earlier in the season.
He started Week 9 against the Falcons and was injured in the first quarter attempting to run in a touchdown at the goal line.
Before he was injured, Hall was 5-of-6 for 78 yards in the opening frame.
Hall was 26-of-48 (54.2%) for 264 yards (5.5 Y/A) with a touchdown and an interception this preseason.
Hall followed up Zach Wilson at BYU with back-to-back seasons over 9.0 adjusted net passing yards per attempt. He left college ranking in the 79th percentile in career yards per pass attempt (8.6 Y/A), 93rd percentile in TD: INT ratio (4.7:1), and 74th percentile in career completion rate (65.2%).
Hall is another solid athlete with a passing resume, logging a 73rd-percentile career rushing score in my prospect model.
While he is only a 2QB option paired with the loss of T.J. Hockenson and Minnesota potentially missing Jordan Addison or having him limited, this is a matchup that offers an angle to upside for Hall.
Green Bay has allowed Baker Mayfield (29.0 points) and Bryce Young (22.2 points) to have their season highs in fantasy scoring the past two weeks.
