Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Justin Fields: Fields is coming off a rocky Sunday night game against Dallas.

In Week 5, he had season-lows in completion rate (55.6%) and yards per pass attempt (4.9).

He did throw a pair of touchdowns while adding 27 rushing yards to avoid bottoming out for fantasy, but we are already beginning to see the potential path to Russell Wilson starting at some point.

Mike Tomlin said that Fields remains the starter, but Wilson will be active for the first time this season on Sunday.

Fields has been “fine” for fantasy, which is more than we can say for when or if Wilson gets a shot.

Fields only has one QB1 scoring week, but he also has one week finishing lower than QB16.

He has been a viable QB2, and this week's positive matchup elevates his appeal and gives him some rope as the starter.

The Raiders are 31st in the league in pressure rate (24.4%) and just lost Christian Wilkins for the foreseeable future.

When Fields has thrown from a clean pocket, he has completed 74.7% of his passes for 7.3 yards per attempt with 5 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Fields has completed 48.6% of his passes for 6.5 yards per attempt with 0 touchdowns when pressured.

He has been sacked on 24.5% of his pressures, 20th in the league, which has been a long-running issue for his career.

The Raiders have allowed top-10 scoring weeks to three of the past four passers they have faced.

The only exception was Deshaun Watson, but two were Andy Dalton (24.6 points) and Bo Nix (23.1 points).

Raiders QBs: Gardner Minshew was pulled again for the second time on Sunday, signaling that the Raiders are close to changing to Aidan O’Connell.

Antonio Pierce said there will be a competition this week, which is bizarre since these two “battled” all summer long, and he has pulled Minshew twice in five games.

I will reserve further commentary on Pierce, who feels like he is grasping for any life preserver this season, but whoever draws the start here for the Raiders will only be an option for 2QB gamers forced to fill a vacated spot in their lineups.

The Steelers have not allowed a QB1 scoring week on the season.
