  • After converting 11-of-17 third downs (64.7%) in Week 1, the Rams have converted 8-of-25 (32.0%) since.
  • Opponents have converted just 25.7% of their third downs against the Rams, the second-lowest rate in the league.
  • The Colts have played man coverage on just 8.2% of opponent passing plays, the lowest rate in the league. The league average is 25.1%.
  • Opponents are averaging 58.0 offensive touches per game against the Colts, the third most in the league.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Anthony Richardson: Richardson was unable to clear concussion protocol a week ago, but we will enter the week under the assumption that he will be back this weekend.

If we do get another start for Gardner Minshew, we will circle back and update.

Richardson was QB4 in Week 1 (20.9 points) and then scored 17.7 points in the first quarter of Week 2 before exiting the game.

Richardson is just 28th in passing points per attempt (0.280) but is still second among all quarterbacks in rushing points scored behind only Lamar Jackson despite sitting out the past seven quarters of action.

65.9% of his fantasy points have come via rushing.

On weeks in which Richardson finds the end zone on the ground, he is going to compete with high-end QB1 scoring weeks and still compete with back-end QB1 scoring weeks when he does not.

We will need the rushing output here.

Maybe we end up getting there over time, but the Rams have not been the worst defense in the NFL to open the year.

They have faced Geno Smith, Brock Purdy, and Joe Burrow (albeit limited), and they have not allowed any of the passers to finish higher than QB21 so far.

Facing those three, the Rams are allowing 8.4 passing points per game, which is fifth in the league.
