- Seattle has scored on 26.2% of their offensive possessions over their past four games, 31st in the league.
- Since firing Robert Saleh, the Jets have allowed 2.66 points per drive, better than only the Jaguars (2.70) and Raiders (2.79).
- They had allowed 1.39 points per drive in Weeks 1 through 5, fourth in the league.
- Seattle has held their opponents without a first down on 38.1% of their possessions, third in the league.
- The Jets average a league-low 0.25 points per drive on possessions with a sack.
- Seattle has a 47.4% success rate on passing plays (9th) compared to a 33.3% success rate on running back rushing plays (28th).
- 66.7% (16-of-24) of the touchdowns allowed by the Jets have been rushing, the highest rate in the league.

Quarterback
Geno Smith: Ending last week as QB21 (12.4 points), Smith has been the QB20 or lower in weekly scoring in four of his past six games.
With Seattle shoring things up on defense, this passing game has not needed the jailbreak game scripts that elevated Smith earlier in the season.
After averaging 41.8 pass attempts per game through six games, Smith has averaged 30.8 per game over the past five games.
Smith threw for 8.2 yards per pass attempt last week, but the passing volume was not as strong as earlier in the season, and he still has not been able to overcome his poor touchdown luck.
He only threw 1 touchdown pass, giving him one or fewer passing touchdowns in 9-of-11 games this season.
Smith has thrown 6.5 fewer touchdowns than expected this season, which is the worst fortune at the position.
Smith is a QB2 this week.
The implied game total here does not offer any reason to be bullish on Smith needing to crank up the passing volume.
This matchup is not as scary as it would have looked earlier in the season.
The Jets have lost some of their strength as a pass defense.
Since firing Robert Saleh, the Jets have allowed 8.1 yards per pass attempt (27th), but they have done an excellent job preventing passing touchdowns. Their 3.6% touchdown rate over that stretch is sixth.
They are also second in the league in pressure rate over that span (41%), an element of concern for Smith.
Under pressure, Smith has averaged 6.3 Y/A (20th) with a 53.4 rating (33rd).
When pressured, Smith has thrown 5 touchdowns to 10 interceptions, the most in the league.
Aaron Rodgers: After some rumbling that Rodgers would not start coming out of the bye, that was shut down by Jeff Ulbrich.
Rodgers has one QB1 scoring week over his past eight games, leaving him as a floor-based QB2.
Seattle has improved on the defensive side in recent weeks.
They have not allowed a QB1 scorer since Week 6 while allowing 6.8 yards per pass attempt to Matthew Stafford, Brock Purdy, and Kyler Murray over the past three games.
