- The Eagles have 21 more plays of 20-plus yards than their opponents, the largest margin in the league.
- Philadelphia leads the NFL in EPA via rushing (32.5 points).
- Carolina is 30th in EPA as a run defense (-10.5).
- Since their Week 5 bye, the Eagles have allowed a league-low 4.1 yards per play. The next closest team has allowed 4.9 yards per play.
- Over that period, the Eagles have allowed a league-low 1.24 points per drive.
- The Eagles have allowed their opponents to convert 31.6% of their third downs over that span, which is 3rd in the league.
- Carolina has allowed opponents to convert a league-high 46.8% of their third downs.
- The Panthers allow 2.96 points per drive on the road, 30th in the league.

Quarterback
Jalen Hurts: Hurts was not asked to do much again on Sunday.
He connected on 11-of-19 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown, rushing 9 times for 29 yards and a touchdown, his 12th rushing score of the season.
Hurts has been “fine” for fantasy lately and is not providing zeros, but he has fallen short of expectations due to Saquon Barkley's long touchdown runs and the Eagles' control of games.
Hurts has been QB13 (18.7 points), QB15 (15.1 points), and QB16 (17.6 points) over the past three weeks.
Those are not worthless scores by any means, but gamers with Hurts have high standards where he competes with QB1 overall output.
We brought this up last week, but Barkley has avenged the Tush Push by generating touchdowns of 20, 19, 23, 39, 70, 72, and 25 yards since Week 9.
Those long touchdowns reduce play volume for the rest of the offense.
The Eagles have then controlled games and used Barkley to their advantage.
Since their Week 5 bye, the Eagles have had a 29.2% dropback rate in the second half of games.
The next closest team (the Steelers) has a 41.5% dropback rate in the second half.
As a result, Hurts has attempted a league-low 7.3 passes per game after halftime over that span.
They have a 21% dropback rate in the fourth quarter of those games.
He has 21 total pass attempts in the fourth quarter over those eight games.
Mac Jones attempted 20 passes in the fourth quarter on Sunday.
Even comparing this to the 2002 Eagles, that team had a 46% dropback rate in the second half of games and a 36% rate in the fourth quarter.
With the Eagles as 12.5-point favorites against arguably the league’s worst run defense, are we expecting a massive shift here?
That said, what can you do?
You aren’t sitting Hurts against the Panthers of all teams.
Especially on a week with six teams on bye, you aren’t chasing another matchup for a higher outcome.
If anything, it is a second thought for how to handle him in DFS at a lofty cost.
Carolina is 30th in passing points allowed per attempt (0.503).
There is still an upside per attempt for the throws we do get.
We also could run into fewer long Barkley touchdowns, which can add early-game volume.
Before this 3-game “slide” for Hurts, he had averaged 27.9 fantasy points per game over his five games out of the bye on only 20.6 pass attempts per game.
Bryce Young: Young is starting to put together some good football.
After a strong outing against the Chiefs in Week 12 (16.5 points), Young was QB8 (23.6 points) on Sunday.
The bar has been set so low that completing 56.5% of his passes for 6.5 yards per pass attempt has sparked some hope, but the past two weeks have been a dramatic improvement over where he was.
Especially handling pressure.
Young was pressured on 44% of his dropbacks Sunday, the 3rd-highest in Week 13.
Under pressure, he was sacked just one time on 22 dropbacks while passing for 132 yards (7.3 Y/A) and a touchdown.
While the past two weeks have provided added confidence for gamers using Young as a QB2 this week, he still takes a step of faith to be aggressive with as much more than that against this scorching-hot Philly defense.
Young is a massive road underdog with a team total below 17 points.
We have to tread lightly.
The Eagles just pressured Lamar Jackson on a league-high 54.5% of his dropbacks on Sunday, so Young will likely have to navigate heavy pressure again.
Over their past 8 games, the Eagles have allowed 5.6 Y/A (1st), 8.8 yards per completion (1st), a 2.4% touchdown rate (2nd), and a league-high 10.6% sack rate.
