  • Seattle averages 2.39 points per drive on the road (8th) compared to 1.50 points per drive on the home (28th).
  • The Cardinals average 2.55 points per drive at home (5th) compared to 1.91 points per driver on the road (18th).
  • The Seahawks have allowed 1.30 points per drive over their past four games (second in the league) compared to 1.97 points per drive prior (17th).
  • Arizona has allowed 1.26 points per drive over that span (first) after allowing 2.64 points per drive prior (31st).
  • Arizona has allowed 4.9 yards per play since Week 7, second in the NFL.
  • Since their Week 10 bye, 54,8% of the Seattle set of downs have reached third down (28th) after a 40.8% rate prior (5th).
  • The Seahawks have a 34.9% success rate on rushing plays, ahead of only the Texans (32.8%) and Raiders (30.1%).
  • The Seahawks have led for 26.5% of their offensive snaps, 21st in the league and the lowest rate for any team over .500.

Trust = spike production for that player

Quarterback

Kyler Murray: The Kyler Coaster has been running downhill again.

He has been QB25 (10.3 points) and QB21 (15.2 points) the past two weeks.

He has been QB20 or lower in three of his past four games.

One of those games was in Seattle in the first matchup between these teams.

Murray was 24-of-37 for 285 yards in that game, but he failed to throw a touchdown and only ran for 9 yards.

Murray has a great playoff schedule on the horizon, but this is a tough spot to handle him as more than a boom-or-bust option.

The bar is low for him to be better in this rematch.

There is still shootout potential indoors for the second round between these teams, but the Seattle defense has gotten things together.

They have not allowed a QB1 scorer since Week 6.

Over that span, they have allowed a 64.2% completion rate (13th), 6.7 yards per pass attempt (6th), and a 3.7% touchdown rate (10th).

Geno Smith: Geno has finished higher than QB20 in just two of his past seven starts.

He has thrown multiple touchdown passes in just two games this season.

We have been waiting for his touchdown regression to grab hold, but it has not happened.

Smith has thrown 6.9 touchdown passes below expectations, the unluckiest quarterback in the league.

This is a tough spot to bet on that flipping.

Arizona has allowed a league-low 1.5% touchdown rate at home this season.

Smith is a floor-based QB2, but I still am leaving the door cracked that this game could be higher-scoring in Round 2.

Like Murray, Smith was not awful in the first matchup between these teams despite the lack of fantasy points.

He was 22-of-31 (61%) for 8.2 Y/A but only threw 1 touchdown pass with an interception.

Arizona only pressured Smith on 29.7% of his dropbacks, his lowest rate in a game this season.

When Smith has not been pressured, he averages 7.9 Y/A (14th) with a 76.3% completion rate (4th).
