- They 49ers have finished 2nd, 14th, 5th, 9th, and 8th in rushing attempts and 2nd, 15th, 7th, 8th, and 3rd in rushing yards over the last five seasons.
- Since entering the league in 2020, Brandon Aiyuk has the highest EPA per target (0.43) among wide receivers to play multiple seasons.
- Christian McCaffrey has now played 33 games with the 49ers. He has scored 39 touchdowns with a passing touchdown in those games.

At this point, we know what to expect from a Kyle Shanahan offense.
They have finished 2nd, 14th, 5th, 9th, and 8th in rushing attempts and 2nd, 15th, 7th, 8th, and 3rd in rushing yards over the last five seasons.
The 49ers rank 31st in neutral pass rate over his tenure, so both that volume and success are independent of game script.
Since 2017, the 49ers have the lowest dropback rate on first downs.
Moreover, there are not a ton of routes available for receivers.
Since Shanahan joined the 49ers in 2017, the 49ers are 31st in the NFL in use of 11 personnel at 42.8%.
They also rank sixth in EPA per dropback over that span and second in EPA per dropback on first downs.
While it is unlikely we will see a massive bump in dropbacks this season, Shanahan has proven he can create one of the most efficient passing games in the league.
