- The Bucs have utilized play action on 25% of their dropbacks in the first half this preseason and have used motion on 43.6% of those dropbacks. Both numbers rank 13th among NFL squads.
- Mike Evans roared back to form last season. His 15.9 yards per catch was his highest in a season since 2019. His 2.34 yards per route run was his highest in a season since 2018.
- Rachaad White accounted for 76.0% of the Tampa Bay backfield touches, which was the third-highest rate for back last season.

Baker Mayfield is set to play for yet another offensive coordinator, the story of his career, but at least he has some familiarity with this one.
Mayfield and new OC Liam Coen worked together with the Rams when Mayfield made a pitstop there in 2022.
Coming from the Sean McVay coaching tree, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from Coen.
Unsurprisingly, the Bucs have utilized 11 personnel as much as any team on early downs in the first half through the first two weeks of the preseason.
They have utilized play action on 25% of their dropbacks on those snaps and have used motion on 43.6% of those dropbacks.
Both numbers rank 13th this preseason.
