- The Dolphins were third in total yards after the catch last season and fifth in YAC per reception.
- Tyreek Hill has been targeted on 32.0% and 36.6% of his routes the past two seasons, the highest rates of his career, setting a new career-high in receiving yards per game each year with the Dolphins.
- Jaylen Waddle ran 101 pass routes last season with Hill off of the field. On those plays, he was targeted on 35.6% of his routes while averaging 3.68 yards per route run.

While we did see Miami’s pass rate over expected and first-down pass rate in the first half fall last season, we have a pretty good idea of what this offense wants to be and what it can do.
The Dolphins were third in total yards after the catch last season and fifth in YAC per reception.
Last season, Tua Tagovailoa ranked second in time to throw in early downs over the first three quarters, getting the ball out of his hands in 2.21 seconds on average in those quarters.
They were easily first in yards per attempt on running back runs (5.5) and were tied with the 49ers, unsurprisingly, at seventh in the total number of running back runs.
This offense has playmakers and is good at getting those playmakers in position to make plays.
