- CeeDee Lamb accounted for 29.9% of the team targets (fourth in the NFL), 31.5% of the receptions (first), and 37.5% of the receiving yards (third) last season.
- Jake Ferguson was tied with Travis Kelce for the position lead in expected touchdowns (7.0) last season.
- Ezekiel Elliott had 16 rushes inside of the five-yard line with Dallas back in 2022, which was third in the NFL. Tony Pollard had 13 a year ago, which was eighth in the league.

- Yards Per Play: 5.6 (6th)
- Offensive TDs: 50 (6th)

2024 Cowboys Coaching Staff:
- Head Coach: Mike McCarthy
- Offensive Coordinator: Brian Schottenheimer
There were some changes on the defensive side of the ball, but the band is back together on offense after Mike McCarthy took over the play calling duties last season.
While much is made of their lack of playoff success, Dallas’ offense was unquestionably one of the best in the league last season.
They finished first in points per drive (2.7), sixth in yards per play (5.6), and fourth in success rate (44.5%).
They were also aggressive, finishing first in situation neutral pace and fourth in neutral pass rate.
The Cowboys were 3% over their expected pass rate, ranked fourth in the league.
Given the state of the backfield, there is little reason for the Cowboys to change their pass-first approach moving forward.
Moreover, a defensive step back could lead to more situations where they are forced to pass whether they want to or not.
